tsbains64 added 23:07 - Jan 19 SaintPaulVW added 06:09 - Jan 20 2 off the post, 2 goals, Redmond Handbags, a solid defense and a JWP blemmer. I just can't get enough! COYR! smegma added 09:40 - Jan 20 QPRish-ness strikes again and again. And again.Never scored a goal for your club ?? So THREE players broke their duck for PNE. QPR, the defence that keeps giving. allsaint54 added 11:12 - Jan 20 Great result. Must mention 2 players. I've been 1 of JWP's harshest critics over the last couple of years but his performances of late have bee superb, what a transformation - tackling , driving forward & showing his creative side. Plus a great goal as well. Also Bednarek put in another great effort. Why MH & MP couldn't see his virtues shows the difference with RH in charge. Looking forward to rest of the season, onwards & upwards. mattthelegend added 11:38 - Jan 20 100% commitment all over the pitch Bednarek, PEH, JWP were all impressive . WTF was Hughes doing apart from stealing a living and a life times retirement from us???????. The change is beyond belief 6 points from two games when we would have been looking at 4 max 2 minimum from. You can say Everton were poor but then we made them look poor with continued pressing and at times slick passing. UTS 😇 MickB added 12:21 - Jan 20 Scowen seems to be getting most of the blame for the opener, though Lumley's short service looked very ill-advised. No matter, both have done well for us and made few mistakes, so should be forgiven. What I find more difficult to accept is the way in which the midfield let the game pass them by. I agree with others that Eze looks like he needs a break or at least a better of how he might 'interfere with play' more often.. Cousins looked semi - detached which is surprising because, even after a few marginally better performances, he still has a lot to prove. I would rest Eze, drop Cousins, move Freeman into the centre behind Wells, try Manning alongside Scowen and start BOS on the flank. But then, what do I know? dachiltern added 13:46 - Jan 20 forallthesaints added 18:38 - Jan 20 Great atmosphere and so much intensity (for most of the game) from all the Saints players. Bednarek playing again is like having a new player. He's been excellent since his return. Stephens is in good form and a couple of marauding runs show just how much more forward looking the whole team is. Great to see JWP finally finding some form beyond the odd game. I'm not getting overexcited but the last few weeks have been so much more positive. All we need now is a partner for Ings and to move on those who are surplus to requirements - top of that list has to be Austin. cockneyswan added 19:52 - Jan 26 Gillingham were totally outclassed by a dominat Swansea, the only critisism of the Swans were probably finding the game too easy and we’re not clinical enough, and not converting enough chances into goals. They also allowed Gillingham back into the game at 2-1. But fair play after that wobble they pressed on and won conmfortably. Badlands added 21:39 - Jan 26 Appalling conditions but still a decent game. Grimes my MOM - McBunie seemed to get through a lot of work but missed so many chances. Took his goals well. Apart from ignoring 2 nailed on penalties I thought the officials were good, better than we usually get.
