The tactics and attitude were appalling. Playing a lone striker whilst Palace have three up front is asking for trouble. In the second half Palace came out to scrap for every ball. They tore into Saints like there was no tomorrow and got a deserved win. We on the other hand just seem to want to hang on in the forlorn hope hope of seeing out the 90 minutes.

Did anyone see the manager telling the players to sit back in defence for and during the second half and not to attack. No, it's the players that must take the blame as it was under Puel.

It they were not following the coaches instruction. The coach should send new instructions out to them. Or make substitutions, it is still up to the coaches

Not really sure what to say other than we did what we had to do.
Yet again second half we made more hard work for ourselves than needed to be, l really do like Boufal but it's getting old seeing him always trying to beat every player on the pitch and ending up giving the ball away as the end result.Still a win was much needed but can't see much of an improvement in our approach to this game but hope springs eternal and l am trying to keep the faith.

In truth we should have won given the multitude of chances we created but neither big Smith or little snyth could convert any of the chances.A shocker of a mistake by Scowen masked a busy performance from him and freeman....but we lacked the quality to finish and this is a problem ...there huge defenders the number 8 was a giant and they snuffed out smith we need other options where from who knows....it’s decades since I saw a qpr cup win I need to stop going to cup games
