A great all-round performance today from players, management and fans. The motivation that was lacking in previous matches shone through. After an explosive start from the swans the first half was a typical welsh derby first half with both side redistricted to few chance but Swansea edging it. In the second half Swansea's quality started to shine through with quick build up and dynamic passing. Hernandez with an inch perfect pass and Routledge with a superb finished opened the score. And Dyer with a well placed diving header got the second. Bony then completely sealed it with a fantastic header that showed his immense talent.
The fans today showed passion that brings games of the like of Forest to mind. The east stand bouncing is a sight that will stick in the memory for quite a while. And being a south standian I was surprised by the amount of singing that was done today in my stand despite it being a derby. All round great day that was perfectly summed up by a stranger that turned to me after the final whistle and said "This is better than winning the lottery".

This was a disgraceful poor performance for a Saints team. Not to put out a team that the FA Cup deserves anymore is not fair to all fans especially the ones who travel 700 plus miles roundtrip. With a place in the last 8 and not to much to play for in the league anymore this should of been a priority to win for sure.I have supported Saints for over 50 yrs and this was such a disappointment to watch our team put in such a woeful performance. This was a game we could of won and should of.

I thought the team that we put out would have beaten Bolton. unfortunately Reading were a lot better, and with a week midfield, We were taken apart by the better team.
lets hope we don't have another TV game coming up anytime soon, as we seem to do very badly in front of the cameras.

An unmotivated, shapeless, nervous and ponderous team packed with elderly loanees on whapping salaries.
Harry for England. Or just about anywhere else in fact. Just not here.

Our defence and central midfield has been well and truly found out and is now being exploited regularly. Reading were just the latest to capitalise on our lack of pace and cover as well as our mistakes. Green's confidence is being eroded as he had another shaky game

On a positive note Hoilett was the best we have seen him and Traore was also good on the left flank. They did what we had needed to do at Derby, get around the back and get the ball across the goal. Unfortunately, we couldn't convert what they created..

Once they were down to 10 men we had opportunities to bring the socres level but we just could not capitalise. Reading had the edge and did score a fantastic goal but there was not much between the teams Traore was fantastic and seems to have go his zest back playing for the hoops.
Upfront Doyle was busy but Keane was non existant was hammpered our chances. At the back bot Hill and Dunne were dominant but am concerend at Greens performances
Dissapointed at our support -we need to get back behind our team when were are down ! Hopefully get a response against the next 2 teams befroe we are back on Sky
Reading did play well but were not a1-3 teambetter than us-if that makes sense

Having been beaten by five of our promotion rivals you’ve got to ask yourself do we want to return to the top flight?!
A few positives from yesterday but yet again the hungrier and ultimately best team won. For the majority of the game we were off the pace and rarely first to the ball. Kranjcar’s fitness is poor. Traore stood out for me as did our talisman Hill and Dunne. Barton solid but his yellow means suspension. Hopefully Doyle will continue his good start. Green is beginning to look nervy, which is an obvious worry.
Harry’s post match interview was an honest appraisal of the game but making excuses for missing key players is clutching at straws and is an indication he’s run out of ideas. Yes we’re still in the mix but it’s not exactly convincing stuff. Tactically we didn’t do enough to take advantage of Gorkss red and the introduction of Zamora clearly divided opinion in Ellerslie Road as fighting broke out in Block W. Warnock made some interesting comments about the make-up of the squad, especially the loanees. Got to agree it’s about time we built a team for the long run or we’d be better off staying put!
