Playoffs have a lot more riding on them than normal games so attendances are usually higher.
I can see a lot from Oldham coming especially after Hornets hammered them in the away game. |

Some of Rangi's tweets are clearly threatening violence, are abusive, and in some cases appear to condone drug use (for which he has previously served a ban).
If any of these issues were screenshotted, linked and reported to compliance@rfl.co.uk there could (& probably should) be sanctions for the player as well as the club. I personally find it shocking that the Hornets hierarchy have not already moved to have these removed.
Not only that, but I have a feeling that families may be put off attending by the risk of a star player having a go at a paying spectator, with that spectator ending up 'eating through a straw'.
The RFL make a big deal of safeguarding etc, and proactively encourage people to email compliance@rfl.co.uk - an email address that is monitored daily. [Post edited 8 Sep 2022 7:47]

With all UK Sport looking very likely to be postponed this weekend as a mark of respect to the death of the Queen, a rearranged date for the Hornets game on Sunday now looks inevitable.
Playoffs usually have fixed final dates so it could even need to be a midweek fixture to keep to the RFL's timetable. | |
