Likely the same problems everywhere, sadly, with land at a premium and this is a great deal for the club. No one could have foreseen this kind of nonsense. If they'd given up halfway through and then had to start a new process people would have gone mental about that too.
what an absolute pain in the bollocks.
Bare bones.

What a bunch of total kunts! Where is there money coming from??
£12,535 in their fund can't see how that would cover the cost, got to be someone secretly backing this. Would not cover 1 barrister unless working pro gratis.

Think they have lawyers on a no win no fee basis. These guys are professional objectors, very experienced. Suspect they're just trying to delay it and delay it in the hope QPR give up and pull out.

What does that mean?
Well as I understand it you can't go to the Supreme Court on the same point of law you went to the previous hearings with, it has to be something genuinely new and compelling to take it there. So fingers crossed our 14 day appeal gets it lobbed out.

But surely their lawyers would know this too so must be something new

Keith Townsend, Ealing Council’s executive director of environment and customer services, said This Appeal is disappointing, particularly as it has already been turned down at the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
So nothing new they will just try to say to the SC that the lower courts got it wrong.
