francisbowles added 08:59 - Jan 30 Cesar brilliant again and everyone put a shift in. Mbia worked extremely hard. We will be grateful for the extra day's rest. I thought that Granero had a good game although I was worried for around 20 mins as he seemed to be lacking concentration and constantly complaining about decisions. He did improve his passing and made some good tackles. Hopefully, this will be a turning point for him as he seems to be here for the duration. Harry needs to try and reduce the negative aspects and bring out his obvious class. A slightly different approach needed for Norwich. Much depends on the next 48 hours and who we have to select from. Can we play a higher line without being exposed as we were unable to do so with both Nelson and Hill? highlandbill added 09:16 - Jan 30 Phew! I wanst looking forward to this game as I feared a massacre.Instead we saw a rednapp masterclass in dealing with a far superior army. A few things taken from the game. 1 Cesar is still world class & won the point for us last night. 2 Tarbs gets better with each game,in a different team he too has the potential to be world class. Why did he fade in the 2nd half? 3 Grenaro was shit in the first half & terrific in the 2nd. What did Harry say? 4 Sad to see Nelsen play for the last time. Only part of a season with QPR but he will now enter the hall of Hoops legends. 5.We can beat Norwich and if the spirit shown last night can be maintained the fat lady will remain mute. It wasnt pretty or exciting but a very satisfactory performance and result. The crowd were terrific & did their bit. Onwards & Upwards. Come on you R,S! Doughnut added 11:31 - Jan 30 Agree with Bill...Nelsen now a legend. Hail Cesar too....best goalie in Britain! 4 points from this and the weekend and we're BACK!! Hope the Twitterati leave off TF too...he's done everything he can and deserves praise not slagging. themodfather added 13:36 - Jan 30 the qpr fans played a big part, a much better atmosphere and the team are lifted by it. a dire ref, couldn't count 10 paces?? cesar's saves were vital, adel was amazing at times...m'bia still falls over too often and granero was a liability in the 1st held yet somehow we held on, nearly had a penalty. 4pts from the English and euro champs, that's improvement. smegma added 20:47 - Jan 30 BushRangerW12 added 21:14 - Jan 30 Fantastic performance from the R's, worked so hard. Harry starting to turn around. And since it's a game of two halves 1st/2nd Boruc 7/8 Clyne 5/7 Maya 6/8 Jos 7/8 Foxy 6/7 Punch 4/- Cork 5/8 Morgan 7/9 Gaston 5/- Jay 5/8 SRL 6/8 Davis -/7 Adam -/8 Luke -/8 Manager 9/9 Fans 8/10 Best of all was watching Fergie looking at his watch urging the ref to blow for full time. LostBoys added 02:46 - Jan 31 Game of two halves - not so good in first half and the defence away at the races for their goals. Second half played them off the park most of the time but finishing was not good. Lallana impressed on his return but still will not put his foot through the ball. Gloss on second half display taken by Reading's late equaliser. davepid added 21:54 - Jan 31 Ok .Great second half performance . But if thats our best ,the most we can ever hope for is a nil nil draw, 1 point a game probaly not enough to keep us up. No point being pleasing on the eye if we cant score or barely score . HollowayRanger added 15:58 - Feb 2 NO REMY no goal threat we were toothless apart from mackie winning a pen though hard graft great save by keeper will post it in a mo but pens shouldnt be saved never wanted remy and stand by that ,class player but made of glass
