I live in Ireland and only get to see the extended high lights on Sky. Yesterdays game confirmed to me that the players aren't playing for the manager. I don't belive there is anythong Mark Hughes can do know, there are too many players just going through the motions and collecting their wages.
I don't believe Harry Redknapp would be the long term answer, why not take a risk and try and get Ole Gunnar Solskjar? He would be a lot cheaper than Redknapp.

For me Ryan Nelsen was a hero among cowards. He fought & fought (always cleanly) & even got up to goal scoring positons when he could. Why is heart so big when he was a minor signing we all thought would be a backup player? He must keep the captaincy as he is the only credible candidate.Mackie to be Dep.

At times on Saturday I just could not look.In the 2nd half it was so obvious that the players did not have a clue as to what they were sent out to do. At half time my mate said MH would have to give the teamtalk of his lifetime.Maybe he did not bother as he was too busy looking in his full length mirror. I guess the owners are reluctant to sack him due to the financial knock-ons.Theye need to bite the bullet as he has made it clear he will not resign. "I will fight on" !!! He has not shown fight in any game yet so that is bollocks.Adel,Jamie & Ryan played with passion and anger (the anger no doubt generated by some of the others on the pitch.) We need a clear out of all these free loading "footballers". Look at WBA,Swansea,Norwich & West Ham...we should be ahead of them on paper instead we wallowing in the merde. Hughes out for me.

What I saw at palace Saturday was not a nice sight, yet again we play one up front, we looked clueless and and second best all round, It looks to me that mr Clough and co have run out of ideas if they ever had any in the first place. !! it is plain to see under this board and management we are heading nowhere, I can't see a point out of the next two games the way we are lining up with one up front, Salmon is not the answer, mr Clough it's time you gave Tyson a run up front with Robinson they can't do any worse, so come on Nigel wake up and smell the coffee!!!

a much improved performance, the defence looked tight with Phil Edwards my man of the match. We still don,t score enough goals and finish teams off but we do look better up front with Grant playing.

A gusty performance from QPR and losing 3-1 was no disgrace after keeping Man U scoreless for over an hour. Might be a blessing than Harry witnessed our dreadful defending from set pieces and that playing a centre half at full back doesn't work. Incredible that Traore had to go off yet again leaving Mark Bowen with no options from the bench. Roll on Tuesday and the start of the fightback!!!

Almost... watched the 1st half, missed Mackie's goal and started watching... then realised it might be best if I didn't watch in case I am some sort of unlucky charm... Still we lost... at least I know I'm not unlucky and I can watch them on Tuesday.

It was quite noticeable that when Traore went off that they exposed Ferdinand and took full advantage, shame it took AF 10mins to realise that fact.
Otherwise great performance and easy to swallow a defeat when we play well.
Well done Keiron Dyer showed hes class today hope & prey he gets a run of games, showed spirit ala Hill,Derry & Mackie.

The game changed when Ferdinand came on for Traore. Until then we were looking comfortable.

Dyer very good. Hill, Traore, Nelson. M'bia again all good. Mackie never gave up

A good gutsy performance by most everyone. Shame Adel still cant kick a decent corner for love nor money. Still thats been a weakness of his game since day 1. We have got to stop wasting corner kicks!

OK we lost but at least its something positive for Harry to work with.

Same team for Tuesday?
