Today is the first game in Premier league history that a goalie had to put his hand on his knee to help his ponderous self off the ground. He is that muscle bound ponderous.

Was it me or did any one else think that Bertrand looks so uninterested lately.Overall we were lucky and also we could of pulled out a win, l think we will start putting some descent results together although Tadic and a few others need to step up there game.Lemina looks a good buy looking for great things from his partnership with Romeu.

Can anyone honestly convince me things are any better than under Claude? Be careful what we wish for..............

When you are reduced to bringing Ward-Prowse and Long on to try to win a game, you know you're not going to. There are too many medicore players like them in the squad now. Neverthless, the result was better than expcted after the Wolves debacle. What little quality we've got left is in the defensive midfield area. With Romeu and Lemina playing, we're not going to ship too many goals.

And yes, I agree, code, RB has looked totally fed up so far.

There are still too many lightweights in the side. No matter how tough they play they get pushed off the ball and lose tackles and headers. Hoedt will give us some much-needed height, but who do we drop? It hurts me to say that Maya was a little slow in the second half and made a few errors
If we are to sit back and play in our own half then we must be lightning fast with our breaks but sadly this is not the case. It seems the first pass is behind or directly at the player and not a pass to go forward. The receiver then chooses to pass back or has to do a complete turn before proceeding and of course the opposition takes up their defensive formation.
It did seem in the last few minutes we played with more attacking aggression when Huddersfield players were tiring. I am not sure whether it was influenced by our subs
Finally, can JWP stop demanding the ball be played to him when he is either tightly marked or running back at speed to his own goal and other passes are available.

Both teams poor. Draw was about right. Redmond - Tadic - Cedric - Davis really poor.

I cannot believe we continue to play Redmond. Impact sub maybe but he is light on the ball, gets bullied, is a one shot pony who can only cut in and shoot and offer very little in crosses. Add to the fact that Davis is our captain but has the shooting ability of a blind squirrel and Tadic is about as much use as a tit on a fish and you can see why we can't score. Claude played the same way and isolated the striker with little or no service. No midfielders playing one twos with the striker and believing they will score. MP is doing exactly the same. It is like nothing has changed. Meanwhile Hjojberg and Clasie are ostracised. People slate JWP but at least he creates chances!
GK - McCarthy
LB - Targett
CB - Hoedt
CB - Yoshida
RB - Cedric
LM - McQueen
DM - Romeu
AM - Lemina
RM - JWP
CF - Austin
CF - Gabbi

At least it gives a chance for delivery and goals. Why is 4-4-2 such a dirty word? 4-2-3-1 is about as successful as a dart in a dingy.

Shame we wasted 60 mins with JWP on the pitch.
