That game showed why we need to buy new players in this transfer window.

Ball retention by back passing and playing at walking pace across the back four was boring to watch, totally unambitious and disgraceful.
We should have given Adams a game. Oh, I just heard he was playing.
Boufal who I love to see for his tricks gave the ball away far too often and his attitude was again questionable.
Well done JWP for playing but with his recent efforts, he was the first on my list to get a rest.
Well done Smallbone and Vokins for their goals but they are a long way away from bursting into the first team.
Has Romeu aged? He does look unfit and tired in body and mind.
Will Danso ever get a chance to play as a CB? He is not a wing-back.
Good news tho'! We Won (as we should have done)

A dull dull game with the only bright points being the two goals by the youngsters. Saints “reserves” were poor but the match as a spectacle was not helped by a Huddersfield team that was determined to just get it out of the way with the minimum level of damage. After scoring the first goal I had hoped Huddersfield would be forced out to search for an equaliser but they stuck rigidly to plan A - get 11 men behind the ball. I actually feel sorry for the away fans travelling all that way to witness zero ambition and fight.

Anyone who posted abuse online regarding the team selection before the game should go and support Brentford.

Once QPR hit the opener they dominated proceedings with good interplay, pace in BOS and mesmerising skills in Ilias Chair the latter of which, came to life in this match and tormented the Swans from start to finish. QPR who have been creating chances but missing them a lot this season have put a new year resolution into practice and started putting them away and now adding worldies to boot with two terrific goals from Wallace to put the game beyond doubt and Scowen to add sumptuous cherry on an already fine looking cake. QPR have now surely dumped those years of miserable early FA Cup exits into the history books where they can be stored in a quiet dark place and forgotten about. Fourth round here we come, please be kind and lets keep this season ticking over nicely. You R's!

10 changes in the starting line up - and we won. Boring match but fully approved.
Fulham away in the next round, please ;)

Vestergaard started with 3 class 30 yard passes and then faded away.
Danso tried his best - out of position.
Very happy for Smallbone and Vokins. I can see them become regular first teamers some day. The fine goals from this match will help.

This is my 50th year of going to Loftus Road and I cannot remember two consecutive results like this before. Shame we have to go back to playing English teams!

At the end of January we will probably have 3 contenders for BBCs Goal Of The Month.
