Yes - poor old JV. I know Billy Sharp is a sprightly youngster but...

Good to finish with a win and we came 3rd in the table since the restart. Just need to sort the home form out and could be a good season next year.

What position does JWP play, any ideas? He was either No9, CB, No 10 or RB, I'm not sure. What a load of well drilled mechanical boorfest SU are. I think we're a bit better overall than them and we'd better buy Peters (MOM for me).

Great win for the final game though a very nervous error strewn first half especially from JV . Thought JWP had a great game controlling the midfield with superb crosses into the box . Super Captain bodes well for the new season . OR NR and KWP all had a good game
So pleased for Che, more of the same please next season !!! COYS

Poor first-half , Vesters turning and footwork like the Titanic (played OK 2nd). Defence gave the ball away too much with flanks looking vulnerable. Much the better team in second-half. Che Adams with quick feet and merciless finishing gets his just desserts. MOM, the rock, Romeu.

Great new kit. Thanks to Alex McCarthy for some really important saves before we got to dominate the match completely. Alex has improved and actually punches crosses away on a regular basis now.
Danny "Silverboot" Ings scored his twenty-second goal and Adams got a brace. Romeu is back at his best and we won´t miss Højbjerg. Great to see - for at least the second time - Obafemi brought on as a THIRD striker and Smallbone fill in well as a no. 6, when Romeu is sacrificed to give room for the third centerforward. Kyle WP has convinced me. He has made us stronger. He is quick, brave and clever. BUY, please.
JWP is our new captain - get over it, "I_Would" <3 - and Armstrong is my "most improved player of the season", whereas Danny "SIlverboot" MachineIngs is my player of the year - beating his personal goal tally for a season - and being our iconic top scorer.
8 academy players in the match squad for the last match, makes me proud, and I like Ralps very much.
2 or 3 signings and we can do really well next season, where the top 6 teams will have too many games in too short a time and get heavy legs - which , hopefully, gives us a chance to power upwards in the table.
I look forward to next season with, hopefully, good cup runs and a top 7 end position in the table.

Thanks to my fellow Saints fans and friends for connecting on this platform and thanks to Nick for good articles.
Thanks to John Bailey and Tom for their legendary Saints FC Podcasts and to the lad behind league1minus10blogspot.com for fantastic match reports.

Frustrating 1st half with Saints seemingly already on the beach - particularly our Great Dane. (great as in size, not ability !!) Some woeful defending (mostly unforced errors), combined with poor finishing from the visitors and good goalkeeping meant we only went into the break 1-0 down.

Cue the hairdryer at half time and we looked a decent side in the 2nd half. We wanted it more and the cream came to the top, despite Sheff U's attempts to waste time, frustrate and of course kick lumps out of us.

Pleased that Che got his goals, but deep down, would have preferred Ings to have scored them, to knock Vardy off his perch. Still 2nd place in the scoring charts is great for Ings and for Saints.

Che will no doubt wish the season wasn't stopping, but with him, Ings and indeed Oba all finding the net regularly, we have a decent attack - especially with the likes of Boufal and Djenepo to return. Just needs Long to figure out where the goal is !! :-)

A great end to the season and another double achieved (along with Villa, Norwich, Watford).

A few summer signings and a good clear out of the deadwood and we will be a decent team next season.

What a let down from the last few games,it looked like we were back to our worst in the first half. Thankful that we played a second half the first was awful.Have to give the boys credit to turn it around in the second half,Hojbjerg will not be missed by me and we definitely still need help in defense as there goal we were all sixes and sevens.Stoll we have had a great run but this was one that got away.Coyr.

Pleasantly, Chelsea is an absolutely durable gathering, and that I help them...They should basically focus on the game all in all parcel as they can for the most part when they might be playing at Liverpool's Stadium...Also, i'm trusting that Peter Cech would be back before the semi-finals https://www.buymoviejackets.co.uk/product-category/womens-jackets/

Oh no same mistakes cost us Romeu gives the ball away poor coverage from Walker-Peters and Stephens left marking fresh air.We were unlucky there keeper making some solid saves but not enough and Romeu is not the answer either. Still hopefully we will learn from this Coyr.
