Woolwich (non QPR) 17:48 - May 22 with 21142 views | simmo | Readng the reports coming through, shocking stuff. It was a soldier apparently. I know 3 or 4 guys based at the Woolwich barracks but thankfully most went to Kenya last week. Cut off a man's head next to primary school allegedly. In the middle of a weekday afternoon... 'One witness, identified as James, said he and his partner saw two black men attack a young man aged around 20 in a Help for Heroes T-shirt with kitchen knives like he was "a piece of meat". He told LBC Radio: "They were hacking at this poor guy, literally. "They were hacking at him, chopping him, cutting him. "These two guys were crazed. They were just animals. They dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road and left his body there." He said that after the "horrendous" attack, the two men, in their 20s, just stood around, waving knives and a gun, even asking people nearby to take pictures of them "as if they wanted to be on TV or something". He continued: "They were oblivious to anything, they were more worried about having their photo taken, running up and down the road. "They had no intention of running off or leaving or anything. In my opinion, they were waiting for the police to arrive to be shot by the police. That's the only thing I can think. It's horrendous what they were doing to that guy." Some "brave" women tried to shield the man on the ground from them, he added. He also said that it was 20 minutes before armed police arrived at the scene. "When the armed police came flying around the corner, the man with the beanie hat, the tall guy, he charged at the police vehicle. "A shot was fired by the other guy with the gun. Six shots were fired, both men went down and we now know they are dead as well."' http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/10436107.Police_called_to_Woolwich__shooting__

Woolwich (non QPR) on 21:21 - May 22 by N12Hoop | Just read that someone has claimed that the guy on TV had been seen angrily preaching/ranting against Britain in the town centre in previous days. I went to Speakers Corner a while back and also heard loads of ranting against this country. Surely there's a line where freedom of speech crosses the line. For people to stand up and be allowed a public platform to espouse such virulent anti-British views is taking things to far. To hell with freedom of speech, these people should not be allowed a public platform. |
I might go and stand outside my local mosque tomorrow and rant and rave about Islam. See you in about 10 years after I've been radicalized and released from prison!

TBH I don't know, I haven't got the answer to this terrible mess that this Country of ours finds itself in. That would create more extremists. These farkers do not represent the Muslim faith. As somebody else pointed they are about as representative as the KKK is to Christians. All religions have their nutters. All religions are man made which makes them as fallible as man can be. These two farkers that did this look like me. Once they are locked up they should be violated on a daily basis in the most nasty of ways by other prisoners. State should not be involved in such behaviour. Also, I am in Turkey at the moment. Somebody else posted on her Abbott their dest that they will join the EU. No chance of that. They are getting along just fine all by themselves. The rest of the world comes to them you see..... No easy answers Paul. I think whether a killer is Muslim or Catholic is largely irrevelant, they are just scum. I also think it's important we dont become scum too. If any good comes from today we should all donate to Help for Heroes here: www.helpforheroes.org.uk

Statement from Muslim Council below, interesting points made. In the first world war and second Brighton Pavillion was used as a Hospital for Sihks and Muslims brought from India to fight for England in France. Those that died were buried on the south downs in accordance and in respect of their Religious requirements on death, on funeral pyres. There's now a very beautiful marble Dome on the spot called a Chattri. We're a better human race for respecting each other, not killing each other. If we interned all Muslims for example, NHS would be fooked, loads of Surgeons and Doctors in the UK are Muslim, so we cant just tar with the extremist brush. The Muslim Council of Britain have released a statement which said it understood the victim was a member of the Armed Forces, and calling for communities to come together. The statement said: "This is a truly barbaric act that has no basis in Islam and we condemn this unreservedly. "Our thoughts are with the victim and his family. "We understand the victim is a serving member of the Armed Forces. Muslims have long served in this country's Armed Forces, proudly and with honour. "This attack on a member of the Armed Forces is dishonourable, and no cause justifies this murder. This action will no doubt heighten tensions on the streets of the United Kingdom. "We call on all our communities, Muslim and non-Muslim, to come together in solidarity to ensure the forces of hatred do not prevail."

It used to be fun ranting and raving about who was politically left or right on this site, now it's more serious than that. We are talking about religious beliefs and that ain't fun !! We're not even talking about racists, as religion has no colour bar. While extreme forms of religion exist in our society, these atrocities will happen more and more, sad but true.

Woolwich (non QPR) on 20:38 - May 22 by danehoop | At a school evening tonight with my 8 year old son. It was an international day. Celebrating wonderful multicultural environment that his school is. Brilliant evening, son very happy and enjoined singing in different languages, trying different food and came away with a henna tattoo his hand from one of two ladies of Pakistani descent. Come home and seen this. Feel sick. The animals that carried out this attack are about as representative of most Islamic people as the Klu Klux Klan Grand Wizard is of Christians. The guys that did this are just sick twisted and manipulated animals who deserve nothing but contempt for their actions. Don't paint everyone with the same brush though, simply not true. My thoughts are with the poor guys family at this time. Shocking. Hope the two creatures that did this suffer in this life and the next, whatever that might be, for their actions. |

This would not surprise me at all. The chances are these two were radicalized in prison, I hope and pray these two die ( a very prolonged death screaming in agony hopefully) Because if they live I fear they will spend the rest of ther lives in prison as some kind of sick martyrs and brain washing and radicalizing many more.

Hang them, shoot them, deny them their rights, torture the knuts etc. Just how the FOOK does this help the poor bloke that's been beheaded? How does this help us to stop this happening again? Stop the 15 year old bullied kid from being radicalised? You only ever hear about the knuts that slipped the net, you never hear about the maths teacher who was once a gnats knacker from going to Iraq when he was a young student but turned it round. Never hear about the Health worker who saw through the Al Mahajaroun speaker on a street corner in Luton and walked away. You only ever hear or see the weak ones, the ones whose lives are so empty only hate can fill it. And what's the immediate reaction? More hate. Boss, you fooking crack on fellas and when you wonder why the country has gone to shit take a fooking long look in the mirror cos the answer is right there. I achieved far more using an open hand than I ever achieved firing my Rifle. So all the knee jerk hate mongering nationalist bnp EDL racists out there take heed. Peace. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

What has been made up? Under the 1998 human rights act, if a killer can successfully argue that if there lives are at threat from vigilantes they are given police protection and new identities on release from prison I suggest you look at the facts, unless of course they do not suit your argument or its not convenient to Just to make it easy for you and so you don't post anymore inaccuracies http://www.freshties.com/wp/?p=14731 [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
