15 more to beat Tokyo, hell of an achievement if they do.

High teens is my guess. A lot will depend on how the track cyclists do IMO.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Show-jumping. Three in a day with a very good chance of more.

3rd in the table, France won't like that.

Leon Marchand has been responsible for more than a third of their gold medals on his own.

Need to spread them about a bit.

Beth Shriever is in with an excellent chance tonight, she is a nutter, in a nice way, on wheels. Definitely watch it if you get a chance.

The horse should get the medal, it does all of the work!

Open the gate and let the horse in and see how it does without a rider.

I watched the qualifying. It was almost as if she had a motor.

Leon Marchand would be 10th in the medal table if he was a country, above the likes of Germany.

Quite fancies a day out at the Kayak Cross. Looks like fun to watch.

Judo however looks like two drunks scrapping outside a pub whilst holding onto each other for support.

I did Judo when I was 16/17, the best lesson I learned was how to land properly to reduce the damage. I guess the science of it would be to every actin there is an equal and opposite reaction. I probably slapped the floors harder than I ever slapped a person!

Our instructor had been a member of the British Olympic team in 1976 or 1980, I forget his name.

Its harder than it looks.

Was he Alan Petherbridge or Bobby Sullivan?

After a while you get so toughened to hitting the mat, you often don't bother with breakfalls you just roll out of the throws.

You are correct, it's a very tough sport. One mistake and it's all over
