Paris 2024 on 21:58 - Aug 3 by SullutaCreturned | I did Judo when I was 16/17, the best lesson I learned was how to land properly to reduce the damage. I guess the science of it would be to every actin there is an equal and opposite reaction. I probably slapped the floors harder than I ever slapped a person! Our instructor had been a member of the British Olympic team in 1976 or 1980, I forget his name. Its harder than it looks. |
Son did it Got banned for using an inhaler at a competition . He was 10. It’s very technical

Paris 2024 on 11:06 - Aug 4 by controversial_jack | Was he Alan Petherbridge or Bobby Sullivan? After a while you get so toughened to hitting the mat, you often don't bother with breakfalls you just roll out of the throws. You are correct, it's a very tough sport. One mistake and it's all over |
Peth was at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, and Bobby was at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
| Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎 |

True also Peth was an instructor but I can't remember Bob being one.

She clearly hit the target.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Yep. Why shooting of all disciplines doesn't have a video check considering how fast the targets move is beyond belief.

I can't think of any other Welshman who went to the Olympics. Anyone can take a Judo session, there was no formal qualification to be an instructor, usually the highest grade does it or whoever is appointed by the club

I knew Bob and Gaynor very well and at the time in question and he was doing very little Judo as he was either travelling with his wife or in the Valbone working for BG. I really don't think he did any coaching, possibly he popped with Peth, but that's as far as it would have gone. [Post edited 5 Aug 10:14]

She hasn’t a Carmarthen accent and her roots are “ interesting” IMO,she has greatness in her and I don’t say that lightly She looks like she is confortable at the highest level. Look at her body language She knows she’s exceptional and this is her stage All great sports people see performing at the highest level as what they are about . She loves it I love her

There’s many from that part of west wales who have indecipherable dialects, more English than Welsh. Pembrokeshire either an Irish/Welsh lilt or just plain English.
