County game off
This weekend's game with Notts County will not take place this weekend, after the elements sent the game the same way as most of the other fixtures this weekend.
In reality, the game was always going to be a tough ask to get on after several days of sub zero temperatures had left the Spotland pitch very frozen.
A Friday afternoon pitch inspection confirmed the inevitable and the game was officially postponed at around 3:30pm. No date has been set as of yet for the rearranged game.
The big freeze has also put Hornets' home game on Sunday into jeopardy and that game will face a pitch inspection of its own on Saturday afternoon.
