Live Swans text: Hull City v Swansea City on the Indy

Live text commentary from the MKM, a new initiative for games such as this. We also have a photographer at the game.

12:30 - Kick off.

Nothing after three minutes, bar Pedro having a tap off Harry Darling.

15 - This game is looking like a bore fest this afternoon. No chances for both sides. Plenty of possession mistakes, Swansea looking tired and as we have seen many times this season unproductive. As it stand Hulllook more likely to score.

16- First chance of the game goes to Ryan Giles. Somehow he missed. The Swans need to wake up.

23 - Very little to report, both sides unable to complete passes and make any gains.

30 - Hull City are far more energetic and willing to run. Playing the better football overall but still unable to make a real chance bar the one earlier. Swansea City are mere spectators. Luke Williams won’t be happy with this.

Then we see a good cross from Josh Key which Matt Grimes fails to convert, but it’s a shot on target.

31- Puerta for Hull hits the post, it’s a ricochet from the post which hits Swans keeper, Vigouroux on the back of his leg and bounces out for a corner. Hull are well on top. Swansea City are very lucky to be level.

33 - It was coming as Pedro puts the Tigers ahead. Awful marking and Vigouroux is beaten to his right easily. This is awful from the Swans. It really is.

35- Hull now sensing more goals as Vigouroux spills a cross, it falls to Puerta who has his shot blocked. The Swans are getting battered here. And they are doing nothing to stop it.

The Swans are persistently giving the ball away. Eom the main offender with Cullen making space for him. We can expect a response surely ?

40- Harry Darling with a speculative shot which is deflected and the corner comes to nothing. But Harry Darling who stayed forward meets a cross from Josh Tymon and puts the Swans level. Admittedly it came from nowhere but how they come the Swans won’t care in this game.

Above see the build up to the Swans scoring.

Half time.

No changes and both sides set off like they have had a bullet in the dressing room.

We are into forty five minutes and really both sides are cancelling each other out. The Swans ball retention is pretty hopeless and this game is going to be won by any side who wants it.

58- The Swans give the ball away and Hull are gifted another chance. Fortunately they are Hull and not Leeds. The away side now need to see Franco and Ronaldo, it can’t be any worse.

59- Vipotnik fails to match the pace of the ball as it fizzes across the box.

Well, I was half right, Ronald and Bianchini will come on shortly.

62- Hull continue to expose the Swans left and put in probing crosses.

Ronald on for Eom who has been pretty poor this afternoon. Vipotnik is replaced by Bianchini.

67- Ben Cabango is hauled down by Pedro fortunately the referee spots the infringement or Pedro would have an easy goalscoring chance.

Despite having the better possession the Swans are failing to make any chances.

70 - Corner Swans.

Grimes takes it, Darling heads back across goal and Cabango heads against the post.

Can the Swans find it within themselves to take the points ?

75 - The Tigers are far more willing to run and attack the Swans. A couple of shots on goal are testament to that. Swansea are not playing at all well.

78- Drameh crosses just behind a Hull attacker and another chance goes begging for the home side.More shots incoming but they are not bothering Vigouroux.

79- Vigouroux aids and abets Hull to bag a second goal from Bairstow. Simply awful again from Vigouroux and the Swans defence. A good goal though that should never have happened.

81- Matt Grimes gives the ball away and Hull are presented with an opportunity, it strikes the post and the better side all day nearly get a third.

All we are seeing now is a pathetic display from Swansea City, they constantly lose the ball, cannot beat a player and as a result don’t deserve anything from this game. Horrendous.

92- Poor cross but Cullen try’s to put it on target. It goes wide. This is so so poor.

93- Cullen booked. To be honest he should have pushed the ref over Di Canio style and taken Christmas off.

Well, that’s it from me, what a total waste of time that was.

Report later.

A point gained for the Swans : Allen isn’t dead Baggies !
Just over 14,600 attended this game at the Swansea.com. Take away the visitors support and around 13,000 Swans fans were allegedly at this game. Season ticket holders are always included whether there or not and the ground look very bare. If there was eleven thousand home fans at this game I would have been surprised. That’s a good few thousand who have stayed away this afternoon. And well down to what we could have expected on the last Saturday before the majority return to work on Monday.
Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion, plus Villa winger out of reach
This morning we focus on a game which has lost itself to what we can call ‘football fatigue’ Especially after some of the extraordinary fall out after Luke Williams press conference yesterday afternoon. Unbelievable nonsense on one of the other websites, faceless, nameless and very obsessive.

Swansea City : Does Luke know what he is doing to our club ?
There has been much comment and it has to be said bar a few abusive idiots on social media a lot of frustration on those platforms regards Harry Darling and Luke Williams. Much of this brought about by the reluctance of Luke Williams to just clarify his position at Swansea City.
