Compelling match against the Crusaders. Farrell looks a class class act.

The Lions won. Williamson's "tackle" was more of an assault. Looking forward to Saturday.

Strong and stable my arse.

Enjoyed pre match & post match - very few seats at Cake Tin offer any shelter & that's about as wet as I've got at a match.
Way too many penalties & hoping decider sees some more rugby played.
Touring fans are great & lots of friends being made down here.
Have ticket for Eden Park & will be a cracker!

I think it will be cracker on Saturday. I also think it'll be high-scoring (50+ points?) weather permitting.

I think that the Lions are a bet at 4/1 for the final test. The All Blacks will be without Sonny Bill Williams and the Lions have had another game in which to sort themselves out a bit. Surely time should reduce the advantage of the ABs as the Lions become more of a unit? It seems a close call with the Lions the most likely of the two to find a bit more improvement, so 4/1 is attractive. I wouldn't want to lay 4/1 for sure.

Did my thoughts on the second test. Lions tried the best to lose, but sod it, I'm not going to gripe about beating the best team in the world. What a day!

I'm going to the lake district for a wedding on Saturday. First half I'll be on the train, praying the pub by the station is open for the second when I get there!

Does it ever get dark in NZ without it raining?

I had tickets for the 3rd test courtesy of my client based in Auckland, the perk of a business trip to Aus/NZ/Asia. Three weeks ago I felt a loud rip in my knee and have just had surgery on two cartilage tears and had to postpone the trip. Oh well, I'll be watching from home.

Anyone going to have a beer at 8:35 on Saturday morning?
I'm really contemplating going to Esher Rugby club who are showing it on their big screen with full bar and £5 full English. The Mrs wont be too pleased though if I return home before noon f*cked off my face.

I was on scrumpy for the first one, lager last week and will probably start on Guinness for this Saturday.
Got away with it last week because my mate put on a big do at his house and I took the missus and #3 son with me.
Not sure what will happen this week as I'm supposed to be up a ladder painting windows afterwards!

Esher Rugby Club is a good shout - always liked playing against them.

Watched the first two tests in my rugby club, Orpington. First one was with the missus and was drinking Guinness, second was with my 11 year old son so was drinking coffee. Full English each time.

This weekend I'm in Penzance, but the Pirates' clubhouse isn't showing the game. I'll have to find a suitable pub.

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

Whilst trying to make a tackle, I caught my ring finger in the pocket of the Orpington 1st team fullback as he hurtled past me.
It twanged back and the top joint ballooned up to the size of a large marble. Took weeks for the swelling to go down - and 23 years later it's still a bit lumpy.

...but at least we beat you.

Can you get most of the way there on the train, stop at a more accommodating pub en route, and then go the rest of the way?

Guttingly not - I got an absolute steal of a ticket by being on it for getting a cheap price off Virgin, who are not known for their kindness or strong on the day walk up prices

It's what I'm going to do - though Virgin's wifi rarely works for checking my email on work trips so let's hope my 4G holds up
