Match Thread: Rochdale vs Gillingham on 11:29 - Dec 19 with 4611 views | Dalenet | I am positive this morning. Hoping we can put the "home game" mentality behind us and get at em. They have strikers out injured and may well play for a point. Will be a good boost for us all if the lads can put on a show today and get back to back wins. On their day they are very capable. No idea who is fit to play in midfield though

Not sure I can feel too positive until I see our line up. If no one's back it's going to be a challenge in midfield. Might force us to play with more up top or three at the back.

Match Thread: Rochdale vs Gillingham on 12:04 - Dec 19 with 4523 views | boromat | Great opportunity for Brierley. And potentially Hopper, Bradley and Hopper who find themselves on the bench for the first time in a while. Who knows how we'll get on today with our recent form. First goal will be huge. I think if we go behind we might struggle to break them down without Beesley to mix it up. [Post edited 19 Dec 2020 12:07]

McShane has been on the bench in the last few games - then not again today!

Match Thread: Rochdale vs Gillingham on 12:19 - Dec 19 with 4422 views | DareToCalvin | Some of the ages in our 18 man squad today: 17 - Ethan Brierley and Kwadwo Baah 18 - Ben Chalton, Haydon Roberts 19 - Harrison Hopper, Lewis Bradley, Fabio Tavares, Joe Dunne 20 - Aaron Morley 21 - Tolaji Bola That's 10 of our 18 aged 21 or below. Whilst age is no parameter for ability, think this is a little reminder of how well Brian is doing this season with such limited resources and in general, a young and inexperienced squad, whilst remembering who we lost last season. Yes at times we've played terribly and he has deserved criticism, but I am fully behind BBM and what he's trying to achieve. Going for a score draw today. Up the Dale.

More than likely. Had fans been there, it would probably had stayed at 3pm, although our game at Gills last December had a 1pm kick-off as well.

Match Thread: Rochdale vs Gillingham on 13:06 - Dec 19 with 4110 views | surb_dale | Looks like a very lightweight midfield. Good luck to Ethan. I would av been tempted to play Done or Bola at left back and play Roberts as a defensive midfield anchor man. Hopefully we can start well and grab early goal.

Pity to concede that goal as we had started quite brightly. Quite a few shocking passes & the goal started wilth Jim holding onto the ball too long and getting his pass blocked.
