English booing taking the knee. 21:07 - Jun 2 with 17177 viewstrampie

English people booing the gesture to support black people and racial equality tonight at M'boro, sounded like the vast majority of the English supporters as well.

Should teams refuse to play England, or should England be banned from the Euros ?

A sad world we live in now where a person has to prove they are not a racist, or homophobic...etc by being pressured into doing certain things or saying certain things just to pass the test. In work recently we were handed pride lanyards and "told" to wear them even though there is nothing wrong with our current company branded ones with plenty of life left in them.

So all this fuss about players taking the knee and being booed, yet no mention of them not showing any appreciation of our heroes on D-Day...what a sad state of affairs. PS Fùck blm and players taking the knee

Some are saying if you object to a crime, you are racist? That seems quite bizarre.

Surely not?

Who refers to this site like that? Would it be anyone who used to hurl abuse around on here? Or anyone who's been banned?

I read a post from Ace Jack who referred to this site as ‘Planet Storm Front’.

I have also read posts from the likes of ECB trying to shut discussion down over there by stating;
I think you meant to post that on the other site’
(May not be a direct quote, last time I looked at it was at least a week ago (for the first time in about a year).

This site is being portrayed as far right.
What I see on here is a bunch of people who are (in the main) not afraid to discuss things honestly and a bunch of people and views which reflect the views of the general population.
Nothing far-right in sight.

ECB is as arrogant and intolerant as it comes and a perfect NIMBY .

Make no mistake, posters on this site are not respected being describd as hitler youth, racist, homophobic ,tory. Many posts on PS are made specifically to insult some on here knowing full well they can't defend themselves.

It is easy to pass facetious remarks on forums without having the guts to debate

You're a cracker Ker;I dont agree with some which you post but we need you badly to hang a round and present alternate views to the mainstream on here .

I look forward to arguing with you over something soon.

Now I know why so many of us left this site. This whole thread is a car crash of both blatant and thinly veiled racism. Assuming you're the original Kerouac, you were far better than this once.

Who are we to tell the players what to do? It's not your call or my call if they feel the need to speak out against the abuse they receive because of the colour of their skin. Or if they want to support their teammates who get abuse because of the colour of their skin.

And taking the knee at games has got feck all to do with BLM. Clubs, England and players have made that very clear. It's a gesture against racism. If you oppose it, it means you're supporting racism. It's as simple as that (despite what the bell whiffs on social media tell you).

Opposing or even questioning the purpose of what is now nothing more than habitual tokenism, does not make someone a supporter of racism.

Show your workings out, because I'd love to hear it.

It is a political statement that originated in America and was widely adopted last summer by those supporting BLM in the wake of George Floyd's death...which is the same time that players in this country adopted it.
Stop pretending it isn't, we can all remember the events of a year ago.

If players can make political statements so can fans.
BLM is responsible for so much criminality and pushes a Marxist, anti-family, anti law and order agenda.
The majority of people in this country don't support this agenda so get used to the millionaire poseurs being booed every time they do it.

Your accusation of racism against I and (some of) the posters of this site is slander and beneath you.
Yet if I was to hurt your feelings by giving you a suitable angry response to you calling me a racist, and you complained, it would be myself that would receive a ban.
I have had enough of people like you pretending to have moral authority to be honest.

There is no working out, which is why the standard ''thinly veiled'' was inserted.

Anyone who throws an accusation of racism out without being able to show racism specifically, should be automatically banned and I don't usually say that lightly.

Its used far too often, far too flippantly and completely inappropriately.

Well the England players are going to do their thing.
Young men looking out for young men.
Huge respect to them and to manager Gareth Southgate.

‘Gareth Southgate has confirmed his players will take the knee on Sunday and throughout the tournament. “It’s not going to stop what we’re doing and what we believe. It’s not going to stop my support for our players and staff,” he said on Sunday — and that they will answer no further questions on the subject.’
