Swansea City linked to more defenders
With Swansea City head coach Michael Duff talking about looking at six players per position it won’t come as a surprise that the links keep on coming. However, hands up on the Kienan Davis transfer from Aston Villa, we really didn’t see that coming, it seemed everything was done, but this week won’t see the last of those types of issues.
Can that be regenerated this week ? Only money it seems will talk on that one. Getting inside the information in the final week of the transfer window isn’t easy, and as we have said on numerous occasions - There’s no more free radical than folk.
This morning it’s Zak Vyner, out of contract at Bristol City come the end of the season who heads a list of other left sided players of interest to Swansea City. The Robins are in a Joel Piroe situation with the twenty six year old. With clubs interested they really won’t want to risk him leaving for nothing next summer.
We covered other links yesterday and that’s here —> Swans Monday Transfer Links
Twenty nine year old Kristian Pedersen was pushing for a move away from FC Köln last month with speculation he was in Swansea around the same time as Ellis Simms was having a cuppa in some well known coffee chain. It may well have been Elis James. However the Pedersen link has resurfaced again with news the player is unhappy in Germany. We will endeavour to bring you as much information as we can this week, and let’s hope we don’t get any more Kienan Davis situations, although we shouldn’t rule that deal out with this being the busiest transfer window the Swans have had for years.
