New kits around the world 2017/18 on 22:33 - Jun 20 with 4823 views | 442Dale | Some comments: Burnley in sky blue shorts & socks? They've been told about this before. Sh!theads. 2/10 The Adidas template kits start to bore but at least Brentford away (7/10) and Cardiff home with navy 3 stripes (6.5/10) are a bit different. Talking of boring, sick to death of Puma shirts now and Barnsley get a 3/10 when they could have managed a 5 if they'd at least kept the hooped socks. They didn't. Northampton's Nike template only increases the need to yawn. They can have a 3/10 too. Proper bad mood now, even if Grimsby have at least tried (7/10 for them both, because they'll sell)

I quite like Burnley's blue shorts. Claret and blue is the most insipid colour combination in English football, so I can't blame them for trying something a bit different.

I can't remember Barnet ever having a nice kit.

Squashing the club badge into a green box that takes up the entire width of the white stripe doesnt help on the argyle shirt

New kits around the world 2017/18 on 22:09 - Jun 27 with 4019 views | Shun | Vale's is interesting but it was never going to beat last year's, probably the best in the country tied with Millwall's. Notts County: Bloody love this home kit! Even sans the sponsor.
New kits around the world 2017/18 on 09:55 - Jun 28 with 3934 views | chalkyncfc | The stripes are little to wide for my liking but at least they fade at the back so that you can see the name and number clearer, the away shirt is miles better than the red/pink one from last season (yeah thanks for that Ray)

Both kits are incredibly dull. Port Vale's is ace. Imagine that in blue, with white pinstripes and a black shoulder pad.

Agreed, how is that not infinitely better than the monstrosity of a home shirt we've ended up with?

Tbf there's not much that you can do with stripes, the gold beading around it is a nice touch and like i said the away shirt is a vast improvement on last years two finger salute from Ray

Because it isn't being worn by Lincoln on their travels. That's like the bar when it comes to 'great kits that will sell well' Verdicts... QPR: 8/10, really like the uniformity of the hoops. Plymouth: 7/10, at least it's a different template from Puma and they won't be whining the overall kit is too dark this year. Notts County: Home 5/10, it's two black stripes on a white background. Away 6/10, I like the pattern on the shirt. Port Vale: 8/10 for the shirt. 6/10 for the whole kit if they're indeed wearing white shorts at home. Would love to hear the explanation for that and whether Tom Pope chose it.

Agree. I think it's one of the worst My first comment on this thread but my favourites are the West Ham and Southampton away strips ( both on page 5 Sometimes i think the sponsors logo plays a key role. I love the MUFC away shirt without that horrible Cheverolet logo on it Also in my opinion the away strips seem to be more imaginative/risk taking. Haven't seen a home kit that really makes me say wow [Post edited 29 Jun 2017 22:05]

Black cuffs, that's what it needs. Verdicts... Oldham: 7/10 for them both. Plain but not bad at all. Stevenage: 8/10 for being different. And with any striped shirt I imagine it in blue & black. It would sell. Accrington and Fleetwood: 4/10, template hell.

Agree about the Port Vale kit. Horrible,. The worst ones are Barnet Vale (sadly) Rochdale home.

I think that Stevenage effort is one of the worst kits I've ever seen!
