New kits around the world 2017/18 on 18:03 - May 2 by ColDale | Did anyone catch that abomination that Lancashire played in on Monday? I know the coloured kits aren't exactly traditional but Lancashire are the red rose county and should wear red. Changing it to lime green to match the sponsor's colours is tinpot at best. |
This is the 3rd year LCCC have used the green shirt for the One Day Cup. Thought the "know alls" on here would have known that

New kits around the world 2017/18 on 13:12 - May 8 with 4311 views | Brierls | Don't get too giddy with those shirts from footyheadlines, the 'leaked' shirts have been wrong lots of times. Best to wait for the official release. The Valencia away looks great. [Post edited 8 May 2017 13:13]

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/cricket/lancashires-cricketers-go-green-rad "The AO green is a strong, bright and warm colour. It is extremely powerful and should stand the team in good stead for the tournament. The colour is reassuring and the team will feel calm and balanced when wearing the kit. This will help them to focus and they will not lose their cool if the going gets tough." That's an amazing bit of marketing! Valencia away kit: Magnificent. Always like red/yellow/blue being combined, and that's done in such a way as to make you unsure which colour is dominant. Verdict: 9/10. Takes you back to USA 94 and Hagi's Romanian side who had great fun chucking those same colours all over the place.

The T20 kit is Red. Prior to the awful Green kit for the 40/50 over stuff, the kit was a dark blue.

While the importance of this thread is obvious to all of us, there's nothing wrong with the odd appearance of other kits from the world of sport now and again. American Football throws up some right atrocities for example.

Throw up being the operative phrase Haven't seen Lancs play for several years, so if someone without a chip the size of the Old Trafford pavilion on their shoulder could explain wtf LS27 is going on about... Or maybe not... life's too short [Post edited 8 May 2017 20:40]

Can they not see that the difference in width on the top hoop is causing such a glaring issue by creating a sea of white that needs breaking up? I wouldn't mind if it was the last hoop and that there was a larger area of white at the top, a lake if you will, but they seem determined not to have the badge over two colours. It's made the whole shirt look unfinished yet the away kit manages to address this by having different widths all the way down. If you're going to be abstract, go the whole way, don't pretend it's planned. Verdicts: home 3/10, hooping mad. And it needs some black trim. Away 5/10, looking more hoopful but it's still at bit five-a-side. Anyone could have that as an away kit and that's never good. [Post edited 8 May 2017 21:16]

New kits around the world 2017/18 on 20:15 - May 9 with 3701 views | 442Dale | Ipswich The Adidas retro theme seen on the Forest shirt continues again here. That plain collar is a refreshing change and the shadow stripes being employed horizontally is proper ace. Verdict: 8/10, you could see Romeo Zondervan in this. They can sod off with a blue keeper's shirt though. Hate that.
