It's been surprisingly quiet on the new shirts from so far, but they should start appearing more regularly now.
Liverpool
Similar to the classic strip from the 70s/early 80s (see below), which is good, however it's let down slightly by the red trim in the collar and the New Balance logo not being in gold like the badge. Verdict: 7/10, always a fan of kits which reflect those used in the past.
Edit: With shorts and socks:
0.5 off the Verdict score for having white turnovers on the socks, especially with the shorts being so plain. Jarring.

Verdicts...
Watford away: 2/10, it's a totally ridiculous adidas template but they could have actually saved it by sticking to the club colours and having yellow stripes and trim. But they didn't so they can go to hell, the part where the template devil is in charge wearing that two-tone Nike abomination.
Hull: 9/10, really like that interpretation on stripes, not sure I can remember many other instances where they've been of a similar width, and the way they've been used on the sleeves is clever. We'd sell loads in that style.
Leeds: 1/10, hahahahaha. It's a Swansea kit, you idiots.
Villa: home 6/10, far too many lions dotted about. Away 8.5/10, really like the design on that chest band.
United: 8/10, solid and the black trim cannot be overlooked. So I haven't.
Chelsea/Spurs: so you sign massive kit contracts and end up with the same shirts in various shades of blue and white? 1/10 for being lazy and only seeing the bank balance.
At some stage I'll do a table of the scores and possibly include a few that have not had a verdict yet. Yes, I know, you can't wait.

York: 9/10. When clubs move from Nike to Avec, the designs get so much better (See Bradford). That's a classic York shirt.
Swindon: shirt 8/10, whole kit with green shorts and socks 6/10. I really like the design but it needs a third colour to break it up - something they did in the 90s when abstract green and white was combined with navy shorts. Those squares manage to entertain and amuse.
MKDons: 5/10. Not really trying there. Include all three colours in all three kits and alternate them properly. White with black as the main trim is a glaring oversight. Hate such a lack of attention to detail.
Huddersfield away would get a 10/10 for its excellent reinterpretation of an early 90s kit, but the sponsor patches awkward placing knocks a point off. Still the undoubted highlight for anyone involved with Puma.
A couple more, both worthy of negative numbers for differing reasons...
Celtic third: So a green & white hooped shirt as normal, a two tone green away kit and a fluorescent green third strip. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR AT HIBS, YOU F&<ÂŁ]#G IDIOTS?
Bury away: https://www.buryfc.co.uk/news/2017/july/201718-away-shirt-reveal/ Can't find an actual picture on its own yet, and that probably for the best. One of the worst shirts around which somehow manages to destroy the legend of the chestband. Those yellow bits appear to have been added in an abstract manner by some fool who probably thinks they're clever. The badge appears an afterthought too. Vile.
