Welsh Tourism 10:58 - Jul 17 with 50536 views | Dr_Winston | https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jul/16/huge-market-untapped-lack-of-vis Already on its knees in recent years thanks to the Welsh Govts unnecessarily heavy Covid restrictions, refusal to deal with M4 congestion and seeming intention to actually make getting around in Wales even harder. To top that off we've still got the mooted tourist tax to come. Is there anything in this country that they can't screw up?

Excellent guidance for all our seemingly historically ignorant BritNat posters. Patriots need to have critical thinking see. The flag shaggers will not read it because it challenges their uninformed world view. 🇬🇧

The Mau Mau stepped up its attacks on European settlers and Kikuyu, culminating in the attack on the village of Lari in March 1953 in which 84 Kikuyu civilians, mainly women and children, were murdered. British troops began to reinforce local forces to try and counter these attacks.

Well what do you expect ? Welsh people still on their knees to the English crown and calling themselves British, not Welsh. The job of the BBC is done. Overall I think flag shaggers is fair. ‘God Bless the King’ …. (but obviously dont mention his brother, he is a bit of a funny one) ….. 🇬🇧🇬🇧👑

What have they to do with corruption in modern day African countries? Zulu's, I'd expext every Welsh person to know at least about Rorke's drift, maybe the battle at islandwanha not long before. Maybe I should bring up the Belgians in the Congo, the French in Nigeria, Germans in Namibia or is it only the British who should be ashamed of our history?

They should all be ashamed. Much better than pretending otherwise. Only by acknowledging the past, can we have a better future. Failure to do do is almost childlike.

Who hasn't acknowledged the past? We all know our history is littered with awful moments. The thing is, most of us don't keep bringing them up purely to beat the English and the UK over the head with them. We could go back further, Celtic warriors used to decapitate their enemies and tie the heads together, drape them over their horses. Or they'd put them on the walls of their settlemts to display them. The thing about history is, they were different times and we can't always judge people from history by todays standards. Colonialism went on all over the world, India had empires too, as did the Egyptians, actually have a look, it wasn't just us nasty Europeans, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_empires It's called being human and humans can do nasty things. The reason things are better now is because we accepted our pasts.

The Kikuyu are a Bantu ethnic group native to Central Kenya. At a population of 8,148,668 as of 2019, they account for 17.13% of the total population of Kenya, making them Kenya's largest ethnic group. Every circus needs a clown.

Well the uk partitioned Ireland in 1921. Gerrymandered of course, not all of Ulster … A million people starved to death in 1840’s. The Easter Rising was 1916. The Civil Rights Marches in the late 1960’s. Crown forces deployed in the north of Ireland in 1969. The GFA in 1999. Its a continuum. The consequences follow on in time. Without the genocide in Ireland then Ireland would probably still be part of the UK. The Brits lost the mandate to govern. World wide condemnation. It will be over when all of Ireland is free, from the plough to the stars. [Post edited 6 Sep 2023 8:09]

That will please the Unionists...just saying. Could lead to more unrest . Personally the problem with Ireland and Northern Ireland will continue for many more centuries. To much built up hatred and mistrust which goes through the generations. Most people will just want to keep the status quo and go about their normal daily live without getting blown up or having family members killed or mutilated. Which is far more important than a resumption of violence and bowing down to mad dog terrorist fanatics on either side. [Post edited 6 Sep 2023 8:39]
