tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2276741 views | batman | Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 19:07 - Aug 26 by Thacks_Rabbits | There is also the issue of players who have not been paid by Dale for months, assuming it’s around 4 million a year, and it’s around 6m since Dale paid anyone, that’s another 2 milllion, add Dawson and Bunn wages for a further year, that’s around half a million! They probably owe 15 million and some of it, despite the usual bURY best efforts they won’t avoid. I want them to survive now as the carnage of this season will be hilarious! |
I said that at the game yesterday, part of me hopes they do survive just so we can tonk them twice this season, and take the piss for 180+ mins.

Bolton's gate last week was the lowest since they moved to the new stadium 20-odd years ago, around 5500 I wonder how many loyal fans will turn up to watch bury being torn apart every week?

Both Bolton and bURY could conceivably ship 200 goals this year if they survive, and be relegated on negative points. It’s a joke, efl have been utterly useless, bending over backwards to keep teams going which will be playing lower than conference standard teams. Still it will make the season fun and we might hit 500 pages watching them crash and burn!

I very much doubt that James We saw in our league cup tie against Bolton how their support gee'd them up - for a while. Then the stark realities of experience and skill kicked in, and we tore them apart Since then, it's been a regular shafting Same would happen with bury [Post edited 26 Aug 2019 19:56]

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 23:21 - Aug 26 with 5872 views | D_Alien | It's a salutary lesson for bury how the now-imminent demise of their humongous neighbours down the road has distracted attention away from their pathetic plight Now that a genuinely big club (yes, Bolton just about qualify) is in danger of folding, no-one is interested in the attention-seekers attached to gigg lane and its drainpipes How ironic that bury's BIGGEST rivals have suddenly stolen their limelight in disaster mismanagement [Post edited 26 Aug 2019 23:40]

Bury will be fine, they will have another project to propel to higher leagues speculate to accumulate and nothing will go wrong, oh no! Giggle will be packed out and there will be a waiting list for season tickets.

And how long will bury fans give their manager before demanding one who can win them games? I'll give Paul Wilkinson four weeks (end of September) until he is sacked by the new owner. At the point it will be ”we need an experienced manager ” and the whole cycle of denial will begin again. It will be a good penance for them to be hammered every week as a reminder of the largesse enjoyed under Day and Dale.

And how ironic if the bury buyer now switches their purchase to Bolton - a bigger club with more potential. The lads from Sporting Risk with their analytics know this.

Obviously more potential, but even in administration their debts are insurmountable. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17759608.amp/

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 08:19 - Aug 27 with 5378 views | aleanddale | I do hope bury survive but after at least 6 years of struggle the same length of time as the Day and then Dale cheating era. R11 and the likes - yes there are some good lads / genuine dye in the wool supporters good luck. There is a big % though that make it very difficult to show any sympathy. The lack of humility is quite staggering. Carrington banded about as part of the new look bury and the CVA worn like a badge of honour talked about like ripping local businesses off is just part of being in Lg1. I am pretty sure they will survive the day now so they will limp into Saturday against a very good Doncaster side. These new guys might also get cold feet seeing the snakes nest that are the accounts. Then there is the possibility Dale still is in the background as he will do everything in his power to wring the bury rag for as long as possible getting every last drop of money out of them to make his investment reap financial reward. Interesting few months now for our beloved gigglers.
tomorrow can't come quick enough on 08:46 - Aug 27 with 5308 views | rochdaleriddler | I know it’s easy to knock the EFL , but reading that a board member contacted Smurthwaite and suggested he took over at Gigg is worrying. The man is hated at port vale, and took them to the edge of extinction. Hardly a ‘fit and proper’ person

They're not a 'fit and proper' club. It's time they were dealt with accordingly.

I'm sure they will encounter a festering bucket of maggots when they start probing the finances. God knows what lies hidden in the 2018 accounts. They haven't seen the light of day yet.

Also seems odd that EFL and others have said there were no viable buyers but forever bury said they have been speaking since July. Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if this deal falls through because looking at the company they simply cannot afford Bury's debt.

The EFL have said they are happy they have the money for the takeover. I’d say it’s more the complexities of the ownership of the ground and CVA which could hamper things.

Like any sale...take even eBay...everyone waits 'til the last moment. Much more chance of getting a bargain. That way, fewer options and alternatives are available; a bit like a game of poker - keeping cards close to your chest? Except that is, if there's another extension!

Are the EFL happy they have the money for the takeover, or have sufficient funds to ensure that the club can complete this and next season ?? Two vastly different things. I can't see how C&N Sporting can be privy to the true financial picture if they only agreed 'in principle' to but last Friday. Nobody in their right mind would take on Bury without proper and rigorous investigation into the whole financial mess. How that can be done before 5.00 pm today is baffling.
