tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2263393 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

Will go double or quits on my £100 that deadlines weren't actually deadlines as stated by the EFL and say that there will be another extension today.

A quick look at the proposed takeover consortium's accounts show that they wouldn't have the funds to keep Bury going and pay all the debts without significant outside investment.

Are the new owners allowed credit with a CVA in place or will everything have to be paid in full upfront?

So what they need 2.4 to buy the club?

Then 600k for a 20 man squad on an average of £750 a week salary?

Can't even begin to imagine what other costs will have to be picked up to just maintain the club but I really don't see how this is going to work out for them.

I think the sum is £10m+ just to solve the mess of debts plus £1.5m in wages just for this season if they sign players on contracted terms..

Is there any info that the 25% for the CVA was actually signed!
As i have a feeling its agreed only so SDw passes it on to who ever.

Will C&N pass the fit for purpose test that is something as if the rumour is cortect that they dabble in football betting n gambling then surely that puts them out of the picture....
Also is there somebody backing them!
Then who and will they have to provide that info the EFL....

Stand by for another extention of until friday 11:59 again.
If thats the case then surely saturdays game is in doubt.

Is it normally Tuesday or Wednesday they postpone the games?

If the EFL show no backbone and keep extending these deadlines then it's going to be Bury who are whinging back to the EFL that they're playing 2-3 games every week with a paper thin squad.

It's also going to clog up everyone else's fixture list.

They'll still have to pay him what they owe him. That should buy the villa in Marbella for his retirement.

the previous deadline was supposedly put in place to avoid any further postponements. Now, to be fair, this extension does not mean there will be any further postponements. But any *further* further extension would. So the EFL needs to decide whether League 1 this season has any integrity at all. We are already 5 fixtures in and one club has not played a single game. This has to be resolved, one way or the other. This should have all been resolved BEFORE the season even started to ensure this precise nonsense didn't occur. If a club doesn't have the money to run itself then that isn't the fault of every other club that does.

They have worked out that cash sales pre takeover go to Dale!!!

Genius that to work out!!!

Once a shambles - always a shambles.

They seem to make bad choices whichever way they turn!!

Going to be a VERY long season for the gigglers!!

deadline

noun
1.
the latest time or date by which something should be completed.
"the deadline for submissions is Friday 5th February"
synonyms: time limit, limit, finishing date, finishing time, target date, target time, cut-off point
"they stipulated a deadline for the army's withdrawal"
We all understand the above, why do the EFL read it as just another day for a meeting? Must be good coffee and biscuits.

I wonder if League 1 clubs can sue the EFL for loss of earnings? Either if one or more teams are expelled or because some Saturday fixtures had to be moved to evenings.

The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.

Perhaps the mass turnout to prepare the readiness of the stadium fell a little short of expectation.

The only teams it would probably affect at the moment are Accrington and Tranmere, as they are the postponed bury Saturday away matches.

I imagine the difference in a Saturday/Tuesday attendance for those games would be negligible.
