Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

Dara McAnthony just been on talksport, very critical of the efl for allowing this to drag on so long and should have been sorted in June. He also was critical of Dale and Day to a point. I don’t particularly like the guy but he was talking sense and saying its making the league a farce.
He also said an ex league 2 chairman wants to take bURY and can afford too (we know who that is) and it’s basically not happened. But they could survive yet and he thinks Bolton will.
I can see a major kick off at Gigg tonight once the announcement is made, would imagine it will help save Dale money when he decides to demolish it for houses.
DA spoke sense....
Called Dale out for what he is.
Also said that bury should never have been promoted to lg1 even though they finished top 3 as it was clearly obvious their house was clearly built on foundations of sand.

A seventeen year old child is being interviewed on Sly News and trotting out the old excuses. Its all the fault of the moneybags Premiership and the nasty EFL and isnt it a shame that local businesses will suffer when there are no more matches. It seems that economics and ethics are not on the curriculum in bury.

Rumours more bidders are speaking directly to the EFL.
Surely not another extension!?
If the EFL announce another extention regarding this possible interest then the EFL really are not fit for purpose...
How many more people will keep jumping up before a dead closes to announce their interest only to back off like C&N did because of the amount of money to lay out..
It just cannot go on....
My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

Sand? More like ice cubes and Jelly, the whole thing has been a scandal for years and in their hearts they knew it but they just put their hands over their ears and sang "lalala , lalala, we dont care and were not listening".

A lot of Bury fans have just been interviewed at the ground. There were about four teeth in total between them but I admit I found it hard not to feel sympathy for them. They’ve been naïve, passive and stupid but by god this must feel shît right now.

Bit of an odd statement from the club, especially regarding 'trespassing' given that hundreds were in the stadium cleaning it today. Looks like they know it's over and might be expecting an angry response/some souvenirs to be taken.
George Bernard Shaw had it right:
"He who can does; he who cannot, teaches."

Last Friday 5PM. 'A deadline is a deadline' said Debbie Jeavons of the EFL. 4 days later and yet another deadline gone. Can anyone believe what the EFL say any more? And they have the audacity to go on about 'the integrity of the league' whilst undermining it's own credibility by giving out false statements and having a cheat and debt ridden club taking the Michael out of it. Weakness indeed.

Exactly this. My interest in football is pretty much confined to Dale these days, I've no interest in Bury and if they go tits up I won't shed a tear, it will be deserved. Some of the gloating and salivating at the prospect on here has become unseemly though, I thought we were better than that.

Dale accepts new bid according to a post over there, excuse for an extension maybe?

Agree with this. Even currently well-run clubs (us and Accy for instance) must learn from Bolton and Bury's plight.
However, if what has happened to Bury over the past few years ever happens to us, we'll have deserved it. The negligence of their fans, certain staff and supporters' trust has been compliant in this. Don't get me wrong, SD1 is the main perpetrator here, but the lifeblood haven't done their part well enough.
