tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2263433 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

I agree enough is enough.

when the final drug is administered to put bury to sleep I think this thread should be locked ( Batman what have you created!!!! ).

It was always fair game as the blatant cheating / overspending was rife but lets not forget but for the grace of god it could been us.

I have joined in as much as anybody whilst the hefty contracts were being dished out and total bull was coming from SD1 mouth but I do feel sad tonight at the end of what has been a ride for bury fc that regrettably for them had no brakes.

RIP BURY FC - No gloating here in your demise I hope you can get your football fix elsewhere.

3 potential bidders allegedly.
3 vultures who have arrived after the 5 pm deadline, circling round the carcass....

And the EFL let it happen. Ridiculous. Bury fans have a point that the EFL is not fit for purpose, just like their club.

Media reports that 2 bids have been in the offering one directly to the EFL..
Non firmed though..

SD2 goes one further says that 3 bids have come in and he as accepted one...

Just no end to the guy.....

The EFL have to do what is right and remove their league status.

So all these bids suddenly come in after a deadline that's been set and moved for god knows how long,Jesus wept how naive are these idiots.

There was a perfectly credible takeover that was even given extra time to unravel the debts, since doing so they've unsurprisingly pulled the plug sharpish!!

Do we need a couple more postponements thrown in for good measure to realise this is just yet another stalling trick, boot the pair of them out the league and if either club has anything worthy about them they'll shoot back up the leagues pretty sharpish.

Desperation stakes now.

By tagging along with what appear to be completely out-of the-blue bids the EFL are ending with even more egg on their faces. There's some very big eggs cracking open.

By NOT sticking to their final 5pm Tuesday deadline, (especially with the attached caveat of no further time unless the deal is not quite finalised), they are just exacerbating a totally cringeworthy pantomime.

And that is what it's become - pantomime.

Yes it's an absolute farce. Everyone knows the amount of debt is insurmountable - time to turn off the life support machine and put the fans out of their misery.

The MP James Frith is having a field day.

James Frith - 23rd August 2019 at 3.21pm

James Frith - 27th August 2019 at 11.21am:

From Henry Newman being "impressive" to not James Frith not understanding why C&N were the only bidder accepted by the EFL.

Nothing like an MP to wriggle when it doesn't pan out as expected.

So he's pretty much asking the Football League to relegate Bury so they can start afresh next season. He cannot have much faith in a quick (lol) purchase.

From Friday's EFL press release:

Executive Chair Debbie Jevans, CBE, said: “The Board has considered the evidence presented and has determined, in a final effort to allow the Club the opportunity to survive, to grant an extension and work exclusively with the Club and C&N Sporting Risk to see if a takeover is possible

Key words there:

"FINAL" opportunity

"EXCLUSIVELY"

"IF" a takeover is possible

Question to be answered tonight is: What may C&N Sporting Risk walk away from the deal?

Nice to know the prick is spending so much time tossing about with this lost cause than actually doing his actual job representing the residents of his constituency.

Bet he will be claiming expenses for his phone bill!!!!

This is well into conspiracy theory territory, but what hasn't yet been picked up on is C&N's offer to the EFL:

"...we will be happy to work together with the EFL to share our findings to help them with their ongoing review of football governance, which is essential for the long term future of all members of the EFL and the broader football family."

So, was that C&N's aim all along? Never really intending to follow through with their offer to bury but trying to court favour with the EFL as a way of establishing a rapport that might benefit them from a business point of view? Let's not forget who one of their directors is the son of...

We’ve not had the same problems as Bury FC though have we? Yes, but with regards to other matters I hear you say. Has James Frith reacted the same way to such other matters as he has with Bury FC though? No, so what the fook are you talking about? And three numb idiots liked it as well. And one of them disapproves of this one.
