tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2263564 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

So the question is when bury were in breach of Dawson's contract by not paying him, why didn't he look for another club? Dawson is a decent footballer capable of earning good money elsewhere, so, why is he still at Bury when everyone else has left? Does he have a career-ending injury? Is he not able to read the writing on the wall? Or is he earning (when paid) the sort of money that he knows he can't get anywhere else, hoping the club will be bought out?

He can milk the 7k a week until June 30th 2020.

Same with Bunn. £14k a week on 2 players.

Seven hundred and twenty eight thousand per annum. WOW.

Dawson will never get anything like that again and as a footballing creditor he will be due 100% of whatever he is owed.

SD2 on the radio like the PFA paying the wages was a badge of honour. What a horrible bloke he truly is.

Must listen radio!!!. I think the stress is starting to get to a few.

His wages will have been paid by the PFA, who will recover 100% of their outlay from Bury as part of the CVA agreement. Whether Dawson has been paid 50% of his wages or all of his wages, he has been paid. Both he and Dale can claim to be telling the truth, so it makes things no clearer.

I may well be wrong on this but there's some distant memory that the reason footballing debts need to be 100% satisfied is to retain a club's golden share in the EFL. Should the EFL kick Bury out the league next Friday, would that allow them to treat the footballing debts the same as any other debts in the CVA at 25%? As shown by the Talksport interview there's at least four months worth of wages outstanding (owed to the PFA) and there will have been substantial promotion bonuses due to the squad as well. Just a hunch, but being kicked out the EFL might be exactly what Dale wants to get rid of serveral hundred thousand pounds worth of debt,.

Leader of the little gang of immature cretins.

Dale said he had been paid 50%, Dawson said it’s less than that, neither said it was 100%

Jim White " we all want to save this great club" Feck Off Jim , it needs to go to the wall.
Employing mercenaries like Dawson and Bunn , cheating for decades , getting away with it.
Lording it over other clubs trying to play fair and cutting their cloth accordingly , thus not being able to compete with cheats.
It was great listening , airing your dirty laundry in public.
I am now really enjoying the ride. Wow wow wow !

That is grim listening.

As somebody said why is Dawson still at the club!
He maybe under contract for another 12mths and on 6k or 7k a week.
The guy should have done what other players have done and found another club even though it will be less money about 2k a week as Dawson no pride obviously not.....

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

He was at Dale again for the Donny game. My guess is that he’s banking on getting his money and knows he has no chance of getting that type of wage again.

He AS signed a contract for that money that they were stupid enough to give him. Why should he take 2k when the 50% of what you said he is on is more than that?

I would do exactly what he AS.

The pfa are paying half of his wages. Knowing the silly money bury were paying out even only half of what he’s on is probably still a good screw.

Poll: Greatest Ever Dale Game

Just for good measure, Jill Neville, club secretary, has resigned this afternoon. So ends a long and valuable association with the club and the Neville family who have put many years of their lives into that club. A sad day for them for sure.

SD2 can now appoint a secretary of his own to carry on his demolition work.

How long until Salford City unveil their new club secretary?

She has seen so much s**t over the years it really must be bad!

I do genuinely feel sorry for her, to think that she has felt there is no other option. She will surely be privy to much of the information that many people will want to know about what went on under the reign of the current and previous owners.

She could (should) write a book...

Steve Dale sounds like he is cracking up with all the online abuse and Harassment he is getting. Don’t really feel sorry for him as he’s an hatchet man but it looks like he has/as bitten off more then he can chew with Bury FC, it really hasn’t been the same as doing a small firm over.

Partially agree.

As a person you've always got to do what's best for you but if you look at all the points over the last 10 years when she could have gone and left that club and whatever went on through Fenton, Day and Dale she has been club secretary throughout.

You can't be in a senior position like that at a club like bury for so long and not be complicit either directly or indirectly as part of the team who has led to this demise.

I'll speculate that she will have known much more about the reality for some time and now that time and money is against them, the writing is firmly on the wall.

Go before you are forced is the saying. Interestingly, only today has she concluded Steve Dale is a not an owner she can work with.

Gordon witnessed Stewart Day's mortgage on Gigg Lane.

That's one for the history books and historians in years to come.

I thought Jill Neville was club secretary who dealt primarily with football matters.
Dale described her today as company secretary which is a completely different role with a lot of legal responsibilities.
No wonder she left. I feel sorry for her admire her loyalty but enough was probably enough.

Wonder how much bearing it had that SD2 tried to hide behind her on the TalkSh*te interview today. Plausible deniability and all that.

Whatever chance the FL previously had of getting decent info from the club before the deadline has presumably walked out of the door behind Mrs Neville.
