Looks like Cubero has gone as well

So where does the never ending procession of players leaving Bloomfield Road end? It would appear that Blackpool's quest to hold on to Jose Cubero may be in vain after the midfielder said that a work permit could be a problem in League One.

La Nacion Deportes reported (and we have had to use a Spanish to English on line translation site), José Miguel Cubero confesses that he has options to return to the country (Costa Rica) and seeking his departure from the English Blackpool after his team down to the third division. He told La Nacion that the obtaining work permits could define his tenure in the British club. "We know that there is a year of contract, so you have to reach an agreement. My agent told me that you need three weeks to define the work permit, because if they do not give it me, that helps out, but hurts me because I could not continue playing in England. It is possible to play at a club in the same Championship (second division), but we are in that, "said.

To be consulted about their options in the tico Championship, the player revealed: "there are people who have approached me. We have been talking and it is important to remember that, while the season has been difficult for me." The midfielder said that his intention is to continue playing abroad, but has not ruled out staying in Costa Rica.

With no manager, Orlandi, O'Hara and Lewis all seemingly now having moved on and with just a handful of players left whoever comes in to Bloomfield Road now has one Hell of a job on their hands. Maybe Lee Clark realised that there would just be him and those random players left at the club and the task in hand was just too great especially with the Oyston's tight grip on the purse strings and the increasingly negative press that the club is attracting.

Time is ticking .. and you get the feeling there is a time bomb at the end of it waiting to go off.
