Rodney Signs New Deal

Somewhat surprisingly you could say, Devante Rodney has signed a new 2-year contract at Dale!

Rodney was one of several players offered a new deal at the end of last season but I think it's fair to say it was expected that he would be leaving for an EFL club.

Last season was a frustrating one for the 26-year-old striker who spent much of the season out with illness/fitness issues but managed to score 7goals in 20 appearances in what was a very stop-start season and made a big impact in the final months of the season.

Rodney joined Dale in the summer of 2022 as a Robbie Stockdale signing and has gone on to score 19 goals in 65 appearances for the club.
