Refwatch - Rochdale v Oldham Athletic

Dale’s lunchtime local derby against Oldham Athletic on Saturday will be refereed by GREG ROLLASON.

An educationalist from Worcester University and a company director, Greg is in his fourth season as a National League, and therefore now National List, referee.

We last saw him at Spotland at the end of September 2023 when he oversaw Dale’s 2-2 draw with Southend United.

That was one of 15 National League appointments for Mr Rollason last term, one of which was Oldham’s 2-0 home defeat of Hartlepool at the end of December.

He has refereed six times in the National League this season, most recently a fortnight ago at Eastleigh v Braintree.

Those games have yielded 22 yellow cards.
