Saints Title Odds Slashed

The bookies have slashed Saints odds of winning the Premier League and pushed us above Everton in the list of title favourites in the process.

Back in the summer you would have been able to get around 2,500/1 on Saints to win the Premier League and that price didnt change much even after our great start to the season a few weeks back, however now the bookies are starting to get cold feet and Saints title odds have tumbled.

It is still possible to get 400/1 at Ladbrokes if you are quick but most other betting outlets will give you between 200-300/1 with most somewhere in the middle, in fact if you take Ladbrokes out of the equation then our odds to win the Premier are now roughly the same as Spurs whose best price is 275/1

Significantly though we are now seen as better bets to win the league as Everton and have joined an elite band of eight clubs whose title odds are expressed in 100's rather than 1000's, Swansea City occupying 9th spot in the betting stakes have a top price of 2,500 with only one maybe two bookies willing to offer 1,500 or less.

In contrast our odds to be relegated have soared, back in agust before the season they dropped to between 5-7/1, now you will be hard pressed to find a company offering less than 100/1 with some companies offering as much as 200/1.

Swansea who again are the next club outside of that elite band of eight whose relegation odds are in 100's rather than only double figures are at 14/1.

Next manager to leave his post odds are very interesting Ronald Koeman in the bookies eyes is the least likely to be the next manager to leave his club, despite rumours of the Holland job, heart warmingly Harry Redknapp is now the firm favourite to be next to be out of work, you can get better odds on even Alan Pardew such is the bad job Redknapp is doing at QPR.
