A New Start for AVFTT and BFC

When AVFTT first went on line in 2000, Steve McMahon was the Blackpool manager, the ground was being held together by a lick of paint, Morty's Bar was the place to be at half time, we'd just told Rickie Lambert he wasn't good enough and Karl Oyston was already eyeing up the 'Ormerod Money'! In those days we were part of Rivals.net, from 2007 we moved to fansonline.net and now welcome to fansnetwork.

If you're reading this then you've arrived safely at our new home. It's all shiny and new and like a kid at Christmas you'll probably want to open everything whilst taking note of nothing! However, we'd advise your first port of call should be the forum where you should register for the new site (allow a few minutes for the confirmation e-mail to arrive and check your junk mail box if it hasn't). We have the database from Fansonline and so please register as your old name or if you want to change aliases, please don't register under any of the old usernames that frequented AVFTT.

Before you start posting, go to settings at the top of the forum where you'll find different options to view the board (including a 'bells and whistles' version of the message board where you can post pictures and videos). Then, head to back to the top of the forum and click on FAQ where we answer every question you may have about posting on the new AVFTT. From there, you can post on the board, register a prediction for this weekend's game against Forest, start a poll and even pop in to chat to see who is around. The board should solve a lot of the problems of the previous board with regards to moderating. So you can ignore users, contact them directly and even like their posts. We can also lock posts which should save the need for deleting posts which get out of hand (the 11,30pm tipsy pub thread as we call them).

As you can see, there a new news sections where we'll have articles on Blackpool FC, there'll still be previews and reports on every game but we'd like you to get involved as well by writing blogs for AVFTT. You can find these along the top navigation bar. We've also got fixtures, tables, squad details and even betting stats on the site. There are a number of other sites on the fans network which you can use your profile on to post.

So welcome to the new look AVFTT. There will be fans network support staff looking at the site all day and so any questions then feel free to post them but in the meantime enjoy the new site.
