4 CB's and 3 DM's, one of which he plays on the left wing! Need I say more.

With form and injury he didn't really have much of a choice than to play the team he did

I can see your point but I think he deserves to be judged after he has put his own team together .

I'm convinced he doesn't want to just just hit it long to Zamora in a basic 442 but with the squad we have and the serious lack of pace it's probably the best option

It's irrelevant what Ramsey's true philosophy is. He has no credentials for the post and has shown little to suggest that he can be a success in the role. There's a whole world out there but yet again we're looking at the easy option.

CR isn't going to be offered just a 2 yr contract - it'll be 4 or 5. The rebuilding starts here.

Keeping Barton (Capt), Dunne, Hill, Onuaha and Tarabt is more important than keeping CR.

When Redknapp was in charge the main argument for him gone seemed to be he didn't coach enough and he didn't give youth a chance. This fella ticks both those boxes but now we've moved the goal posts again and want something else. An Experienced man who can put a team together quickly, basically a Harry Redknapp clone

I agree with Dave. Lets not make the same mistakes again.

Pull together a short list - include Ramsey in it, interview those candidates and then appoint the person best equipped to meet the requirements of the role and the philosophies of the club.

Found myself instinctively happy when I read this rumour (and that's all it is).

Dave is right - we wanted shot of a dinosaur in favour of a coach/builder. Ramsey does fit that criteria. If he got us mid-table next season with signs of long-term planning, I'd be very happy.

Both actual full backs recovering from injury, no real option on the left. We still could have won all 3 of those games but for defensive errors and a missed penalty

Yeah because SWP and Kranjcar have been world beaters this year haven't they , the only player I would brought on would of been Taarabt but even then we could of still won the game if it wasn't for a great save near the end

I don't mind Chris
We have looked more of a team with him in charge and he has got more out of certain players like Phillips and Fer
He was left a shit sandwich by Redknapp and we have been unlucky with injuries to key players and late goals
Fans need to remember this is not his team or squad - this is Harry Redknapp bullshit artiste extraordinaire's team and squad.

Chris is a good candidate - we need to go through a proper recruitment process to make sure we are appointing the best person for the role.
The bloke at Brentford looks interesting too
Cheers

No, you're right. Playing Henry on the left wing for the entire 90 minutes in the home game against West Ham was obviously the right thing to do.
He also had the option of bringing on Isla, which, seeing as Phillips was getting nowhere with their left-back, would have given us more options. But, no, let's stick behind the idea that nothing that has gone wrong since he took over could have in any way been his fault, because he had no other options.

So your saying we should of taken off our best player in recent weeks in Phillips and brought on a RB coming back from injury and played him RW ?

We don't have any options on the left and when we have tried other players like Kranjcar , Traore and Hoilett they have been awful so can understand why he kept Henry on although like I said I would of gone for Taarabt

I'm not saying he hasn't made mistakes but he has shown enough for me to be given a chance.

to hell with taraabt. He's a disruptive influence around the club. He doesn't pander to the club. They have to pander to him. Thanks for the memories but we don't need the extra baggage no matter how much they'd light up the championship.

Maybe we could try interviewing several candidates just for a change?

And then appoint Warburton.

Hill as coach, but apart from that, none of those names are particularly important to us next season.

Bare bones.

........and then the new Manager comes in and doesn't fancy any of your selections , or working with Les Ferdinand....and then wants to buy 4 players and bring in 3 coaches .

I suggest this is the time (with so many players coming out of contract) that this is the time for a clean slate.
There is no doubt we have blown 200m on players who have been pampered and massively overpaid and under delivered.
Reality check
Based on our income we should be between 20th and 40th highest paying for players in England (not 8th when we were in the CHAMPIONSHIP)
Let's go back to the old QPR way of buying young, promising players who are motivated, skilled and have strong character to be winners. Not the f'ing losers we have had wearing our kit for the past 4 seasons

I am happy to give him a go . A baptism of fire with no transfer window , a dressing room of seasoned pros many who are loyal to the ex manager . We have played badly in maybe 2 games under him .
Warburton may be a better bet but there is an equal chance he would fail at another club , we may be posting about bullet dodging with him come Christmas. Clement ? experienced in coaching the very best mentored by the very experienced.A gamble IMO .
A young side built by a young manager with something to prove ..I can get behind that ..

If CR is appointed then he will get my full support
He has been a breath of fresh air compared to Redknapp and Hughes

I expect we will go through a proper recruitment process though..... - not just via twitter

He has stuffed up a few times but generally has been ok
6 out of 10 so far

Better than Redknapp, Hughes and Paul Hart

6 out of 10 what?

0
Chris Ramsey two year deal? on 14:08 - May 6 with 1559 viewssuperhoopdownunder

6 out of 10
unlucky with results
has improved a number of players
generally played players in the right position
few stuff ups along the way
tried a few youngsters
results been poor
many lost or drawn in last 10 minutes
speaks positively - does not look for excuses
This is Harry's team not Chris'
Happy for him to be given a one year deal
if he is the best candidate after the recruitment process
