You know what, I don't watch news, but from what I have seen this all kicked off because Ukraine were cuddling up to Nato.
I am not taking any sides, but what I would like to know is, will there be and end to this war anytime soon? Surely there must be somebody in the world, with just a little bit of diplomacy skills to put a halt to this?
Regardless of who is right, surely just halt it and talk.

If Zelensky and co want to prevent the complete destruction of their military and infrastructure then they will have to negotiate for peace. Putin will not stop until he get's his victory. He did it in Chechnya and will do it in the Ukraine.

He’s had the capability to do this for many years. The U.S. has been arming Ukraine since 2014, maybe even before so why attack when it’s stronger than it’s arguably ever been? Makes no sense at all unless he began to feel threatened.
The other reason is there has been no threat until 2014 and the Maidan uprising that seeks to de Russify ethnic Russians or Ukrainians that speak Russian.
Like I said before if you put Trampie in charge of Wales and he introduced laws downgrading the English language (and he had a rentamob like Azov to implement his crazed fantasies) life would be pretty awful for solely English speaking Welsh people.

There has been NO diplomatic effort by ANY western leader to solve this crisis through negotiations. They rather keep feeding young Ukrainian men and women into the mincer because war is profit, especially if you are a member of the U.S. senate or congress and happen to have shares in the big 5 attack , sorry I mean defence companies.
That’s the real story and it makes me sick to my stomach. The Minsk accords have been willfully ignored by the Ukraine (and the west could have imposed sanctions upon them for this) and they just carried on attacking Donbas. It appears they weren’t expecting any kind of response! When agreements are breached the final option is military action.
