LostBoys added 20:14 - Sep 2 Kaos_Agent added 20:23 - Sep 2 Pretty good showing considering that they have not really played together before. Nice to see Faurlin again, and Granero looks the genuine article. Despite key lapses the R's defended fairly well given who they were up against, and given that they did not simply park the bus. francisbowles added 00:40 - Sep 3 Congratulations, every player gave 100% and was rewarded with a decent performance. Overall some mistakes but much better, Hughes 10/10 for selecting players that would run and tackle for this fixture hence SWP m.o.m. for me. Granero very impressive and AJ lots of good runs off the ball and forcing the save from Hart that led to the goal. Best game from Ferdinand for a while as well. Disappointed with away support very quiet but I think the way we were split top and bottom of one section of the end had something to do with it. Good view from top though. Time for patience and belief. landsdownsaint added 06:14 - Sep 3 icehorsestud added 09:15 - Sep 3 Great game, shame that we threw it away at the end again. Strangely enough I would have been quite content if we had lost 2-0 and been outplayed. Losing from being 2-1 up with five minutes to play is bloody annoying! Sadly NA lost us the game. His reasoning for the subs was fresh energy, fresh pairs of legs. Yes, but it is the defence that is letting us down. If he wanted fresh energy he should have replaced Clyne and fox with Richardson and Seaborne - not take off the 3 best players, including the Captain, which made us rudderless. Guly wandered around without doing anything useful. Watching the replay on the last goal, nobody marked van Persie - how dumb can you get. I fely really sorry for the likes of Morgan and ward Prowse who played their socks off and Rickie was a class act. We will be alright but NA needs to get agrip on his substitution ideas and please can we ship Guly out....PS.I thought he was to be punished for his "offence", so why was he even on the bench? geraldo added 09:41 - Sep 3 We won't have an easier game all season - even their kit was crap!! My concern is that we have turned the clock back 10 years with a mediocre team and crowds back to 2000. Grant looked sharp which was a bonus. cannot see us making play offs though.... anfer added 10:20 - Sep 3 Totally agree with Icehorsestud....Ricky had worked his nuts off but he was the focal point, NA should do some serious work with the defence in the international break. Oh and get rid of Guly. Yorkshire_Dale added 23:41 - Sep 8 It speaks volumes that the best player on the pitch was Marcus Holness.......a player that John Coleman couldn't wait to get rid off in the summer! Absolute shite from the home team! Please can I have my money back after that show,Mr Coleman? geraldo added 01:05 - Sep 9 This was the worst performance by the worst Dale team in the last 10 years. Coleman has managed to gather together the most inept bunch of nobodys in the league. The only decent players are the 3 left from last season and the Capt Cavanagh is a joke. Mr Dunphy has a lot to answer for........... newgolddream added 17:09 - Sep 15 Well done to all concerned. Very unlucky with injuries. However a clean sheet and ending their 100% record will do for now. U R's!!!
