Don't trust the BBC 23:04 - Oct 13 with 15946 views | Kerouac | ...it is merely a propaganda machine for Lefties. Take this for an example. The USA is being prevented from rolling out a $1.8 trillion COVID bailout package by Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats. This happened today. It is big news in America, even CNN is taking this story seriously, I just watched Wolf Blitzer giving Nancy Pelosi a good going over on the subject (imagine the Guardian were demanding answers from Corbyn for using the system to block a bailout in this country...that's what this is). Now, the BBC has been taking a pretty keen interest in US politics lately, every day there is a multitude of anti-Trump articles. How do they report this story? Nothing on the main page: https://www.bbc.co.uk/ Nothing in the 'News' section: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news Nothing under 'World' (several attack jobs on Trump's Supreme Court Judge pick though): https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world Nothing under 'US and Canada': https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world/us_and_canada ...that last page is hilariously one sided. If you want a laugh scroll down and check out the BBC's spin on what Biden said in the video under 'Did Joe Biden really say he was running for the Senate?'. These people aren't journalists. They are not reporting the news. They have an agenda and are trying to confuse people with lies (see Biden video). ...and they are all paid very well indeed, paid by us.

Don't trust the BBC on 23:05 - Oct 14 by builthjack | Good luck with the questions. You wont get the answer. |
I knew I wouldn't get an answer, Builth. It's one of his techniques - ignoring difficult questions - along with deflection, sarcasm, feigning ignorance, arrogance, sanctimony and diversion - anything to "win" an argument. Have you ever tried to grab a slippery eel? Reminds me of one of those potty, bible-belt tv evangelists from Alabama. All in all, a vicious weasel.
Don't trust the BBC on 10:22 - Oct 15 with 1144 views | onehunglow | I see the BBC are making a programme about Saville-Jimmy that was. That 'll be something to behold. The thought occurs to me he was never brought before a court ,no doubt because of the obfuscation of the BBC but he would have had a celebrity barrister defending him and crucifying witnesses in the process and he could have been found not guilty.trange things happen in Crown Court with top legal brains in full flow . What would have happened then? Saville was as clever as he was evil. Hopefully,he is rotting in hell

Don't trust the BBC on 00:28 - Oct 15 by KeithHaynes | Daz, we are just trying to make it more friendly, it's going well, site has increased in visitor numbers by 35%. News stories everyday, Matchday features, new writers, new music forum, site layout, not justifying anything, just reminding you. Im getting a tad bored with all this tbh. Especially continued references to other posters. Everyone is entitled to have a view on anything, but I'm saying this finally and for all time. Remember why I'm here and remember we agreed certain things when you came back. That's my last word, it's tiring. |
Good post Keith and I’m sure we all agree with your sentiments. I believe that you are trying to make it more friendly but I will reserve judgement for the time being on whether or not it has been successful, but I do genuinely hope both you and Phil succeed. The other board is far less hostile in my experience. I never stopped posting here and also post on the other board.

Don't trust the BBC on 10:53 - Oct 15 with 1131 views | onehunglow | Looking at the other site ,the posts are more profane without doubt and not sure its friendly for all. Still this site is a far better place to be. Personally,I'm not looking for friendship as you really cannot judge people 100% from what they post,as I ve found out many times. People can post what they like and nobody knows if they are serious or just joshing.I do both. I argue with myself. If we exchange views and keep to topic, ad hominem, then that' all Keith wants and we really should bury old scores as they are corrosive. Now,all of you-enjoy your day.It might be your last.

I don’t have issues with anyone on here but I can guess what sort of respondents I’m going to get when I post. Yesterday you said you weren’t going to converse with me for obvious reasons - why was by was that? I wasn’t aware of any beef going on.

You did not seem so supportive of this site, or so seemingly objective, when you were over on the other site mocking this one, calling it spratty’s site. I think many chose to stay with this site because they were happy to free themselves from much of the abuse and previous controlling manipulation. Generally this site has become far more respectful and tolerant as a result of the split. I have not signed up to the new site, but hope it succeeds, not least so this one does not revert to what it was before, but from the brief looks I have had at the other site, you were certainly not the only one mocking this site or its posters.

If that post by Darren calling me and others freaks is for real I am truly glad not to be on a site that allows such personal abuse. I used to experience it all the time on here before certain people left to go on the other site. Long may they stay there and away from here. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’s not a difficult question, it’s a stupid question. I’m not going to tell you where I work, where I live or what my girth is. It’s the easiest question in the world to answer, the answer is “don’t be so creepy you weirdo”. By all means step forward and debate any points I make you disagree with. The fact you can’t speaks volumes. But you know that don’t you. Dry your eyes.

Don't trust the BBC on 14:01 - Oct 15 with 1044 views | onehunglow | There is everything wrong with being right wing.At least ,if you are a labour voter or so it seems. I see little of civil liberties as regards card carrying labour folk .To be seen as a Tory voter is vile scum,a phrase used regularly. Might as well have a one party state. It didnt work in Russia and the eastern bloc where the people couldn't wait to get rid of "socialism". That said, plenty of Labour voters own car worth more than the value of many other labour voters which hows ultimate hypocrisy.. If you are Labour then you should not be living in a luxury home nor drive a Prestige car when people in your town are on the streets. That is where socialism breaks down for me. On the other hand,Tories ,when I was a kid, represented the small businessman which they do not now. Both parties are lying ,disingenuous garbage that shames this country

Being right wing is someone who supports social or economic conservatism. Nothing wrong with that at all. It isn’t a political party.

It so nice to come home from a hard shift at work to certain habitual comforts: shoes off, slippers on, a cheese and pickle sandwich, a strong cup of tea, a purring cat, a half hour nap, and, last but not least, the certain knowledge that Gradgrind has posted yet more crapola on Planet Swans. I did not ask you where you lived, or where you worked - but "you know that anyway". I asked for the name of the "global organisation" (your words) that you bragged about working for. You might, for example, work for KPMG or Apple or Starbucks, but that doesn't mean I'd know where you worked, as such, or indeed where you live, but "you know that anyway". As for your girth, if you eat as much garbage as you write you'd be too bleeding fat to get out your front door to get to this global organisation's local office.

When Phil left FN I didn’t know this site would continue and for a while I didn’t post much. You were one of the dominant posters here during that time - hence Spratty’s site. Happy to clear that up. Just for balance, as that is often overlooked here, many posters on here take a derisory view of the other board and it’s not true that it is any friendlier on here recently. The responses to my posts are quite predictable and I keep telling you I don’t want to revisit old arguments with you but can you let it go? Genuine question - or would you rather keep arguing over 2014? It was boring then and I can’t see it being any more exciting now. I’ll leave it up to you.

So you didn’t ask me where I worked... but you want me to tell you where I work Like I said, stop being so weird. Asking men you don’t know on the internet strange questions to try and canvas personal information is odd. By all means try and combat the points I make, but you can’t, we both know that. Which is why you keep crying.

Sly and slippery as ever, eh? Or maybe just plain thick. There is a big difference between asking who someone works for and where, exactly, they work. I asked you who you work for, not where you work. But "you already know this, don't you", you tedious toad. For example, I work for a global banking organisation (ironically), but that is not the same as divulging exactly where, or in what capacity. Stop effing about, and play the game, lad.
