Boxing Day. Ipswich vs Supers.

Just as we are all stuffed with Xmas turkey. Ipswich are about to get stuffed with some hooped dicks. 2-0 to the Rs.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

I think we have to accept what Northern said a long time ago. It's not really the manager. No one can make this group of players play well. The summer transfer was a complete wasted opportunity. We could have got younger and quicker. The only player we bought that has shown anything is Grant Hall.

Eh? We did get younger & quicker.

Ferdinand & the board want Jimbo playing the big names though. Any ire people are feeling is to be directed in 'Sir Les' and his seniors' direction.

Not to alarm or distress anyone, but it's possible that we may not be promoted this season. Please breathe slowly and hold mummy's hand if you feel a tantrum coming on.

All together now

"Mid table mediocrity, mid table mediocrity, mid table mediocrity, mid table mediocrity."
And repeat.

10 / 10 for crowbarring Chris Ramsey's name into this defeat.

maybe you should tell this to the board

“The thing about football - the important thing about football - is that it is not just about football.”

I'd convinced myself that as the last BBC update on my phone was us 0-1 to the good.. that we had pulled of a great result.. was all happy, half drunk and full on Argentinian steak all paid for by the father in law... only to turn on the laptop and find out that infact not only had we lost after being ahead, we had conceded a 90th minute goal.. Talk about putting a downer on what as a day was going quite well...

Ferdinand said as much. They feel playoffs are on, and so want the big names played as they feel that is the best chance to get there.

No we didn't. We have two old lags at full back. Poulter has no real pace. In fact we still have no pace upfront. Gladwin has gone. Loungo and Cherry don't get a look in. What a wasted summer transfer market. Grant Hall is the only shining light.

JET has pace but Polter is clearly preferred. Not sure a target man really needs blistering pace though tbf.

Luongo, Gladwin & Chery don't bet a look in because Jimbos bosses want Sandro, Fer & Hoilett playing.

Out of interest, how long after Ramsey has gone with the same things happening - the same things that were happening before he arrived - before you stop bringing him up after defeats he had nothing to do with?

And "Colin" manged to lose a game in farcical circumstances in the last minute as well and he was only here for a month.

Manager not the problem. Been saying it for fcking years now. Another new manager, another "bounce" of no wins from four games.

You right on the target man but even with Charlie you need someone with pace to play off him. JET was always a gamble and neither Colin or JFH seemed to want to pick him. Was always known to have a bad attitude.

You have been proved right Northern. We will need another purge. Maybe some midfielders who can defend and attack. Full backs that can support the attacks with a bit of pace. Some speed up front.

Don't think Ferdinand wants that though and is just following orders from above

Hopefully now they will realise we won't go up and we play people who will be here next season and not Green , Fer , Sandro etc

The last 10 minutes caving in of QPR, comforting somehow that somethings never change.

Just back.

Rangers were unlucky to lose today. If Fer made it 2-0 when he should have done we'd have seen the game out comfortably. Signs of improvement are there. QPR looked organised but unfit.

Greens kicking is awful, amateur standard. On more than one occasion he cost us possession today. Ale looks knackered and Polter was running in quick sand second half. Yes it's annoying to lose, but today it wasn't meant to be. Ipswich had real pace up front with Sears and as the game went on he looked more and more dangerous drifting along their front line.

Change the keeper Monday and get some younger fullbacks in January would be my priority now. That and someone who can play either with or instead of Polter when Austin is injured.

You know the rules. If you like the manager the players are to blame. If don't like the manager the manager is to blame.

"Mid table mediocrity, mid table mediocrity, mid table mediocrity, mid table mediocrity."

Wasn't the original goal for this season mediocrity? Then the mediocrity was rudely interrupted by the board announcing that the goal was promotion because they had discovered that the team wasn't really mediocre. Then normal service resumed.
