Ukraine destroys Putin’s prized £250million submarine ... 16:17 - Aug 3 with 21053 viewstheloneranger

"UKRAINE has obliterated one of Vladimir Putin's prized Black Sea submarines in an impressive attack on occupied Crimea.

Kyiv forces said the prized Kilo-class Rostov-on-Don submarine, worth £275 million, was hit in a strike on the Sevastopol port."

"Ukraine's attack on Friday also “significantly damaged” four of Putin’s ultramodern S-400 air defence systems - worth in total around £2 billion.

Kyiv claimed the missile barrage also targeted four vital launches of Russia's "Triumf" air defence system.

The Kilo-class Rostov submarine - used to fire calibre class missiles on Ukraine - had been hit in September 2023, but was then repaired.

Dramatic pictures showed the gaping hole ripped into its side after a barrage of Storm Shadow missiles bypassed air defence systems to blast naval docks in Sevastopol.

Amnesty international have countered that though

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2022/08/ukraine-ukrainian-fighting-tactic

There's no mention of the Ukraine shelling civilian areas and attacking the nuclear power station

Couple of points

Amnesty havn't countered it as their article is TWO YEARS OLD and was roundly condemned as when you sre fighting to defend your city you will invariably have a military footprint in civilian areas.

The only attacks on a nuclear station was the alleged missile attack on ZPP...where the missiles came from the direction of Russian held areas and the fires recently set at ZPP, which is Russian controlled, oh and an unidentified drone near the powere plant - a drone too small to have power plant destructive abilities and only rubbish propaganda value.

Please maintain your comedy act it amuses us all.

Nope, the Ukrainians sent missiles at the Power station near Kursk, they were shot down fortunately.Russia wouldn't shoot their own missiles down.

Ukrainian military units were shelling civilian areas in the Donbass since 2014. That's one of the reasons the conflict started. Do keep up!

Yes, it's a democracy and that's why the Russian people voted overwhelmingly in support of Vlad and his policies

They have freedom of moment and expression, probably more than we do.

A democracy where all opposition leaders are jailed or killed. Where freedom of speech is punishable by prison if one dares to critise putin or Russian.

It is a dictatorship that follows Hitler's Nazi policies.

The Russian people have a history of violence .
It runs through her veins
They love power
Vlad is powerful

They also have a trait of making protesters and dissidents vanish

Failing that, they will hound them down

Because their electins are free and fair, unless your name is Navalny or Ilya Yashin, Kara Murza, Andrei Pivovarov, Mikhail Khodorovsky, Boris Nemtsov, Boris Akunin, Boris Nadezhdin, Anna Politkovskaya, Ravil Maganov, Paul Klebnikov, Natalia Estemirova, Denis Voronenkov, Boris Berezovsky, Sergei Yushenkov, Garry Kasparov and Alexander Litvinenko.

All are or were critics and oppositin to Putin. The lucky few are in exile and still alive, the less lucky are in prison, most of them are dead in "mysterious circumstances"

Some wanted to run in the eledtins but were barred from running by Putin, so free and fair....hardly.

Nope. It was about protecting ethnic Russians in the Donbass and to create a buffer zone against NATO. Could you imagine Britain going all the way to the Falklands to protect ethnic Britains from a foreign aggressor, whatever next?

Of course their elections are free. How do you get 90 million to vote? a huge turnout with 88% voting for Vlad. The were queues of ppl at many polling stations. Would they do that if they were coerced, lol.

There were many parties that took part in the elections, just like here.

Everybody knows that was just a BS reason givne to justify doing what Putin intended. If there had been n Russians in Donbass hed have found another reason.

The majority of people in the Donbass didn't want saving by Putin, the majority of people on the Falklands however wanted the UK to come and help.

Then there's the small fact that most residents of Donbass want to be reintegrated with Ukraine,
https://theconversation.com/most-people-in-separatist-held-areas-of-donbas-prefe

It was always about a buffer zone to protect Russia from NATO even though NATO would never have invaded Russia, down that road lays global nuclear devatstation. NATO aren't that foolish and Putin is mad enough to press that button.
Shame that in invading Donbass Putin dsplaced millions of residents and killed thousands of innocents whereas when the Uk went to rescue the Falklands residents we didn't kill thousands of innocents. Not to forget that the UK flag was flying over the Falklands by it's people consent and freedom of will but Russia's flag was forced on the Donbass.

Let’s put your mental gymnastics to the test.

Justify this.

A man released early from a murder sentence to go and fight in Ukraine rapes and murders an 85 year old woman, then a week into his new sentence is released again to go back to fight.

A buffer zone was indeed a reason, as conflicts always have more than one.

The official line is that 90 million voted and 88% voted for Vlad. But then, in a dictatorship what else would they say? They always have big turnouts and massive support even if hardly anubody actually turned out.

All the people who are genuinely opposition to Vlad have been stopped from standing, if not murdered.

We saw similar political chicanery in Venezuela where their dictator also managed a good win.

You're a stooge. we know it, you know it. I'l lask again, what do you get out of it when so many people call you out?

We all see who and what you are.
