"UKRAINE has obliterated one of Vladimir Putin's prized Black Sea submarines in an impressive attack on occupied Crimea.
Kyiv forces said the prized Kilo-class Rostov-on-Don submarine, worth £275 million, was hit in a strike on the Sevastopol port."
"Ukraine's attack on Friday also “significantly damaged” four of Putin’s ultramodern S-400 air defence systems - worth in total around £2 billion.
Kyiv claimed the missile barrage also targeted four vital launches of Russia's "Triumf" air defence system.
The Kilo-class Rostov submarine - used to fire calibre class missiles on Ukraine - had been hit in September 2023, but was then repaired.
Dramatic pictures showed the gaping hole ripped into its side after a barrage of Storm Shadow missiles bypassed air defence systems to blast naval docks in Sevastopol.

"The court heard that Edwards had been involved in an online chat with an adult male on WhatsApp between December 2020 and August 2021 who sent him 377 sexual images, including 41 indecent images of children, of which seven were category A (the worst), 12 category B and 22 category C."
"Of the category A images, the estimated ages of most of the children were between 13 and 15, but one was aged between seven and nine, the court was told."
"On 2 February 2021, the man Edwards was corresponding with online asked whether what he was sending was too young, in response to which Edwards told him not to send any underage images, the court heard."
"The final indecent image was sent in August 2021, a category A film featuring a young boy."
"Sentencing guidelines set the starting point for any jail term for possession of a category A image at 12 months, with a range of 26 weeks to three years. The starting point is 26 weeks for a category B image and a community order for category C."

"A Premier League manager will receive an honorary university degree from the Sussex city that he was born and grew up in.
Russell Martin, who got Southampton promoted in the 2023/24 season, will collect his award from the University of Brighton later today.
He has been awarded it in recognition of his work to improve the lives of young people in Brighton & Hove.
Martin set up the Russell Martin Foundation (RMF) in 2017, with the aim of using the power of football to change lives.
The RMF is now supported by Brighton & Hove City Council and works with 10 secondary schools in the city and 40 schools across "Sussex to identify and support young people who need respite from mainstream education.
The foundation also works with the Extra Time Project and people who may struggle in mainstream education.
People can go to the foundation for 12 to 16 weeks to get back on track with their education and self-esteem before "it is too late".

"Swansea City can confirm changes to our Swans TV Live streaming packages ahead of the 2024-25 season.
From the beginning of the season, a new rights deal between the EFL and Sky Sports will come into effect, which will see a record number of games broadcast live on Sky Sports. You can find out more about the deal HERE.
As a result domestic streaming passes will be removed, and no matches will be streamed on Swans TV Live in the UK or Ireland.
Packages will remain available to international supporters. There will also be a reduction in the number of games streamed in certain international regions. However, these will be available in dark market (unsold) areas where the EFL does not have a broadcast rights holder.
These will be confirmed in due course.
These changes will see Swans TV Live packages priced at:
£10 per individual match streaming pass.
£25 per month for monthly streaming passes.
£5 per month or £45 per year for live audio commentary passes.
To ensure maximum value for supporters there will be no annual live video passes, but audio passes will be available for supporters in the UK.
The availability of live video streaming in specific international regions is dictated by the rights deals that the EFL holds in those areas. For supporters in the US, this will be impacted by the rights deal between the EFL and CBS Sports, which you can find out more about here.
The club will be made aware in advance of which games are chosen for broadcast, and will communicate which games are available in which international regions at the beginning of each month.
For the 2024-25 campaign, Anthony O’Connell will continue to provide commentary on Swans TV Live. Match highlights packages will continue to be free of charge, while full-match replays will be reintroduced for the coming season.
Live streaming will be available for the Swans’ home pre-season friendly against Portuguese side Rio Ave on Saturday, August 3 (3pm kick off) in the UK and internationally. Details regarding how to purchase a pass will be announced soon."
