Nice to hear, but the 2 o'clock weather bulletin suggested anything between 4 and 10 inches of snow overnight in this area.
That quantity would be too much to shift in time for the game, particularly from the terraces and surrounding areas which also have to be taken into account when postponements are being considered .

Its a difficult situation from the club, Southend will have set off today and stayed over night Id guess, so they would have had to call it off today to save the hotel costs etc, but there doesn't seem to be much of it left that I can see at the moment. |  |
