There’s no PH in Steven and there’s no ER in public, but don’t let that bother you, because he probably can’t play anyway. Shall we have a disco instead on the ashes of twitter, go insta or tocky tick. Everybody knows me 😂 Fat ladies singing too. Really, go and have a look.

From Martin's point of view 71% possession 17 shots 9 shots on target and three times what Peterborough got. Two poor defensive efforts by Smith and Naughton spoilt what was otherwise a comfortable win.

Those sort of stats are what Man city would get with a 5-0 win because of better forwards.

That's my view on it all from last night.

Our first goal was Martin football, played through the lines and got the 10 in a position with his head up and facing their goal, Obefami was able to make the run in behind and a slide rule pass plays him in.

You could argue the weather and pitch had a lot to play in their 2nd goal, without those factors then Naughten clears the danger.

The fact that we created several chances but didn't take them was the biggest worry for me, another creative 10 in the team would have created even more chances, a good no 10 would have seen us score more than 3.

Our form in our last 10 games even with the odd disastrous games peppered in there has been very decent and that of a top 10 team.

I am certainly seeing more positives and a clearer picture of what is needed for next season as this season goes on.

I do think Martin has to be more pragmatic though.
When he can see things aren't working he is slow to change.
This is hopefully something he will reflect on at the end of season review

Should have turned and launched it into touch or behind for a corner, and give us time to re organise, not towards danger area, even if he never slipped and beat first man there s chance would have put us straight under pressure again, always taught from schoolboy when clearing ,clear away from danger if nothing on..

Yep me as well but that is not the current view, and out of all the defence he is the most comfortable in possesion. Cant remember the game but i was having kittens when they played one twos in the six yard box to get out i actually stood up in anger and i think 30 secs later we scored one of the best goals AJ im not really opposing but i am frustrated for different reasons, i know that possesion football cannot be beaten when zipped 1 or2 touch but we have some players who are way to slow of mind and thought to carry it out on a wet Wednesday night on a muddy surface. So why dont we change them for the youngsters.

There's a difference finding feet znc playing one twos but he was under pressure and clearing his lines kicking anywhere, anx should have turned his body opposite way anc either give corner away or cleared away from danger

What didn’t work last night that Martin should have changed?
Goal 1 they Broke from the half way line, Christie didn’t stop the cross, four Swansea players were spectators.
Goal 2 lucky rebound from Cabango, Naughton lost his footing trying to hoof it clear.
17 attempts on goal 9 on target 3 goals.

Thing is you say lucky rebound and then mistakdby naughton I say wrong decision making..csbango should have done better and shielded ball and maybe drew a free kick knstead of panicking,,naughton should have played it safe and either given corner away or turned and cleared away from goal..poor decision making keeps costing us,that's what the difference between good sides anx excellent sides is decision making,

Wolf and Smith were having a mare.
Also playing the ball across the back on a quagmire of a pitch.
Naughton should have played it behind or into touch.
The travelling support, including me, got behind the team.
We were all pleased they won, but it wasn't anywhere in the fashion we hoped or expected.j
However dont kid yourself they were all blind to the mistakes last night.

I have to say Naughton's mistake was rare, but I am sure he owns it.
I am certainly not a "Naughton basher" but he could have dealt with it better

Indeed, but had he not slipped he'd have knocked it 45yds away from our goal. I could just hear people knocking him if he'd conceded a cheap corner. He slipped, can't be helped. I'm more concerned that Wolf and Smith appear to be certainties on the teamsheet if their available.

Martin was out thought by Bowyer last time we played.

Not really could have cleared to a Peterborough player just outside box and invited pressure straight back, inexcusable from an experienced pro should have played it safe when under pressure and nothing on,and re grouped.i understand players make mistakes and sometimes slip but that was wrong decision making,he was under pressure and attempted to clear blind in wrong area, should have played it safe and re organised, should never have turned inside to clear it but outside or a corner, trouble is he turned on to his natural foot to clear it which was wrong decision..even if HD beat first man still could put us back under pressure,be sure and play safe

Morning Rog.
Where to go on this gorgeous north west day.

Great Orme is shimmering away in the distance here. I feel the hiraeth and the calling.

I'm over last night now as we have visitors here for 3 days (not Swans fans) and on a yellow card from wife for bad language when watching our games.

What, you have had visitors for 3 days and you are on a yellow card from the wife, well e by dam we would never have known that if you had not told us, oh and the great Orme is shimmering away in the distance as well so it was not a cloudy day then.

As much as it galls me, he was referring to Saturday's game.
Obviously he cant talk too much about last night as ultimately we won.
So he is fast forwarding to the next game he hopes we get a negative result in

Obafemi too, he’s hungrier than Wolf 😉
I expect him to get one though. Talented lad is Hannes.

For all our complaints this season our finishing has drastically improved over the last six weeks.

The good Dr will put me right on that.
