The problem is contact sport shouldnt be taking place. Even in cricket when it restarted there were restrictions and yet the idiots in Drefach ignored the advice and organised a presentation evening.

The rugby coach outlined the reasons why they had decided not to restart training sessions and from memory I think they could only coach 10 players at a time. There has to be no contact. There were things like keeping logs who attended and having to use hand sanitiser. If one of the group tested positive then the who group would be require to self isolate and they felt as there was no realistic prospects of a resumption it wasnt worth starting what would just be fitness sessions. I think he said they also couldnt do ball work either.

This is why there should have been rigorous enforcement from day one.

Drefach should be suspended until the 2022 season. Pubs should have been inspected and closed if non-compliant since August.

It seems to be working for me.

It says my risk in SA5 is medium and the app is active and scanning?

edit :-

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/uk-news/nhs-covid-tracing-app-not-18987984

It is working as long as your phone is relatively modern.

I don't think you're looking at the correct app.

Mine asked for very few details just the first three
Letters of my postcode.

My son couldnt get in for me and he writes programmes. He mentioned you need a google account as Android is part of Google. He will do mine later hopefully. It is beyond me.

So, it's not the simple application that it's intended to be. I have to clue how to do that either

It is a doddle. Perhaps your phone is too new as it doesn't work on very new Huawei?

It was literally three clicks, enter the postcode and it was working. All the links from it are to the Welsh info.

The google account I assume is just the Google play app store.

The only way it worked for me is through my google account.Downloading from play store didn't work

My phone is a basic Samsung galaxy and under a year old

If i hadn't had the tip about this it wouldn't have worked. If i had difficulties, i'm not up on all this, then many elderly ppl etc won't be able to work it.Can see it being another white elephant

Too many false positive results at the moment.

Belgium have stopped using the track and trace as a way of measuring the risk, they now use hospital admissions, this seems more sensible approach

Belgium will do what it takes to reduce their figures. Belgium has some of the worse of all. They were reporting all cases and deaths from the start. they didn't hide anything

Belgium didn't lock down quickly enough. They held carnivals while this virus was really taking hold

Here is a prime example of why rules as necessarily. Should be closed permanently not 2 weeks although some on here probably support them saying they were making money.

Totally agree with you.
Lots of pubs are taking a hit by enforcing the rules, those that aren’t and are sticking the proverbial 2 fingers up need to be hammered and closed.

I notice the NHS tracing app has been launched today. Looks good and very simple to use.

It's a shame it is 4 months too late.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't install and use it.

It does not integrate with other tests taken .. 😂

Sky news reporting that Wales is ahead by already integrating with other welsh tests 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Works fine on my 3 old iPhone 7.

Just got back in from kids football. A frames set up by the pitches with QR codes on them for parents to snap on the way past. Fair play - very quick and efficient 👍

Another accurate post from Kilk. I think you should stay away from social media.

It gets more pathetic by the day

Let’s track and trace people, unless you are a copper, or a paramedic, you must be immune to catching the virus at work.

I'm sure nobody would recklessly force police to self isolate would they?

Wales Online Headlines - Wales recording 280 lab confirmed cases today!! As bad as the height of wave one!!! At the height of wave one we had 281 on April 20th.
Now open your eyes and read the small print.... today - 9850 tests carried out
April 20th - 898 tests carried out
So in real terms:
Today’s result = 2.9%
April 20th result = 31.2%
The media & Government are treating us like fools

Strangely for you, you are correct on this one.

Testing is vital.
If you don't know where the virus is, then you cant fight it.

But the overall context is massive.
