Tell me what they are? There is no deputy prime minister. Even if there was there’s no mechanism for that person to take over automatically. Raab is “de facto” deputy on account of being awarded the mainly honorific title of first Secretary of State. That was supposed to mean he stand in at PMQs every so often not to take over the top job in the event of incapacitation or, worse, death of the incumbent.
Anyway, let’s hope all that ends up being moot. |

Well they don't put them in there to give them oxygen. My mother wasn't on a ventilator to start with but she had tubes everywhere, as did every other poor bugger. Not CV obviously, but they don'tput you in there (especially nowwith the bed shortage) if they don't think you are in serious peril.
I'm hoping I'm wrong, but if I had to bet, I'd bet ventilator. They'd simply have to go early with him just in case. |  |
