The one thing I am certain of re this vote is that no-one knows for sure what the repercussions economically will be if we pull out. If you listen to the experts it will be better if we stay in, however its all unconvincing. My issue is that after 10 years of Austerity, the services in this country have been cut to the bone, that is services that are needed by us all - not just Immigrants/benefit spongers. We are not in a position to afford the enormous gamble if it all goes t1ts up. I am taking my lead from Ray Winston and gambling responsibly and staying in. If we ever get to situation when everything is adequately funded and horrible 0 hours contracts were abolished ... then maybe it might be worth the risk to pull out. But to do it now is a massive gamble which we just cannot afford to lose. |  | | |  |

I think it's a mess either way. But in 2016, it's time the planet realised we are 1 ecosystem and starting cooperating. Isolationist politics won't do the long term survival of the human race many favours in the long run if you ask me. The whole world should be run by one person.

Point taken, it was a bit flippant.
The arguments have been done to death really, so it's down to the public. I just think there is so much ignorance out there over what this vote is all about. I met an elderly lady yesterday who was convinced that there were two new political parties - IN and OUT and that we were holding a general election.

There've been a couple of mild punch-ups, nothing wrong with that, sometimes it's got a bit acrimonious but the overall level of discussion has been way above the stuff we've been bombarded with in the media. Also, the humour makes this MB what it is. It's been a pleasure, as essextaxiboy put it, having a kickabout with you. Whatever the result, let's stick together, be positive wherever possible. I'm not blaming anyone for their point of view, neither here nor anywhere else, not today or any day in the future. Tomorrow morning we'll be at the beginning, not the end, and division will provide the enemies of reason with easy pickings.
