The King's speech? on 12:44 - Dec 25 with 2812 views | Lblock | I say fair play for taking the time to do the message But….. fifty full time staff doing Community Trust stuff?! Really? For a club of our size and standing I am shocked and would’ve been if he’d said half that number. Wow. No disputing Andy Evans and his department do a great job but if there’s 50 of them full time then so they should be. Onwards

The King's speech? on 14:41 - Dec 25 with 2423 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Blimey, he speaks! Fair play putting that out and addressing some of our concerns, someone at the club must be reading this site. 😏 I like the youngsters getting picked for older age groups to develop them quicker. Don't really get the explanation regarding the left back and striker recruitment. It's left us really short and I read it as he accepts they made a mistake, especially the left back position. Fair play though, better than the silent treatment. 👍

The King's speech? on 15:31 - Dec 25 with 2283 views | Dorse | I mean, I don't dislike it, I just can't see what point(s) he was trying to make. When I started out in teaching, some of my senior colleagues wrote reports like 'there are gaps in Johnny's ignorance...' and '...he sets himself extremely low standards and consistently fails to achieve them'. This message feels a bit like that - we need to unpack it and work out what the real message might be. To be honest, I'm glad he's made the effort. Compared to earlier in the season, this is a real improvement.

The King's speech? on 15:59 - Dec 25 with 2190 views | Rsole | As a regular receiver of ‘could have tried harder’ autumn term school reports, I would say at least he tried (a little) and acknowledges some of the failings/possible areas of improvement. Self awareness is the usually the first step to getting better so maybe we will see more regular communication and updates now. I’m not holding my breath but it’s a decent step in the right direction for now and if it’s the start of a comms strategy, that’s got to be better than radio silence on some of the subjects discussed here. Maybe most telling will be whether or not we get another update following the window and the end of the season, before the summer holibobs and next phase of contracts.

Agreed I hope the fans do not let this run of form distract them from the issues and from the fact that this guy is a huckster - that we wasted money on madsen and celar, froze out kolli and went into season with one left back Where was his updates when we were in last place? It shows a lot about the character of the guy that he puts out this statement on the back of a few good results but that he was nowhere to be seen when we were in the sh*t If anything this only reinforces my opinion of the guy

I really think he's learning on the job, well, he must be. Our transfer window will probably be very profitable long term, while leaving us very short this first half of a season, a situation aggravated by our horrendous injury list. But...we can set ourselves against him, or try and push him in the right direction, and be appreciative when he gets it right. He seems to listen, hence the injuries updates and Cifuentes, thank the heavens, still being in a job.

Yeah we know you really really dislike him. He seems to be learning from his mistakes but for a few people whatever he does won’t meet their lofty standards.

It’s not that buddy we are realists the bad outweighs the good unfortunately. Yes the content is promising but he really has a long way to go to treat rayan like he did is disgusting
