Speedie the antichrist.

THe most vile British footballer ever . Still tops my hate list.

He's probably very nice to his mum but I doubt he has one

There arent many that get close to him.

Bremner
Giles
Storey
Dicks
Jones V and most of his team mates

captains fantastic
Poll: SWEET F'IN CAROLINE. Played every half time

Ya, but Macca was a nice fella!

Opposing players normally receive a respectful round of applause as they are carried off when injured.

The massive cheer as Hughes leaves is a reflection of the horrible git of a footballer he was.

Macca's policy of sorting him out nice and early was a tactic more should have copied.

RIP Big Man.

This one still sickens me. Deliberately slams his forearm into the oppo player's head at full speed. Cowardly tvvat should have been jailed but wasn't even sent off. Referee should be ashamed of that decision.

I always thought it was ironic that Hughes was our manager when Mcdonald passed away and we did the minutes applause for him before the first game of the season. I like to think he could feel his shins itching during it

I nominate Graeme Souness. In particular for his tackle on Tony Galvin in the 1982 League Cup Final.

Good call.

Some of the stuff Souness got up to when he was with Glasgow Rangers was astonishing.

Can't remember him that well. Was young when he was with us but know he had double figure sending off. Mark Dennis perhaps

Spot on Myke. Fair play to Souness, came a long way in life but his undoubted talent was always tarnished in my book by the disgraceful depths he would plunge to with little or no provocation. His nasty side tempered somewhat at Liverpool, but signed for the ‘hard Man’ ability which he ably displayed at Middlesbrough. A bastards bastard on the field of play, got away with a lot in the red shirt.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

Yes he was a bit of a nutter! Good player when he wasn't suspended.

Mad Gavin Maguire top of our home-grown list.

Lots of familiar faces here, too.

I looked forward to Speedie coming here, I felt like an old lady at the wrestling.

Absolute cowardly thuggish challenge on a Sunday morning he would've been knocked out by most of the opposition

I remember that, as he was being carried off, the loft cheered and he looked up at the upper loft and shook his head....

Seems revenge is a dish best served cold.

Souness was pure filth. I always hated him and his "hard man" reputation.

Speedie was dirty and a horrible specimen but Souness was a psycho.

As for the Keane tackle on Haaland, I still think he should have been charged for assault or worse. As should Thatcher for what he did.

Macca's tackle on Hughes, on the other hand, was immaculate.

Suffering since 1978.

“Brink of a red”

😂😂😂😂

I know almost nothing about the Premier League even though I try to catch the big games every now and then at the end of the season. But I will say this, Queens Park Rangers is just a fukking sick ass team name. Just sounds so cool.

I just think David Busst (Coventry) in 1996. I hope no footage exists and I certainly wouldn't search for any.

Gorgeous Georges Santos...

Never really saw that side of him for us but that was hopelessly bad. Premeditated assault.
