The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 16:25 - Oct 25 by perchrockjack | Better debate with rugby. Why is it discussions on this sport are less fractious . Football clearly brings worst out of people |
It's because the more intelligent posters are able to disuss the finer points as they don't resort to name calling and abuse when debating.

The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 16:41 - Oct 25 with 1216 views | perchrockjack | Or maybe it's a more complicated game and requires greater intellect. Anti eggers clearly feel inferior hence their ridiculous drivel. I go on scrum v and have never had a spat ,not even a pithy riposte. Another world.

Those early injuries and lack of accuracy cost Argentina, they are improving and are going to be a major force with the experience of playing the Rugby Championship every year. Australia looked they had been in a game the AB's must have been enjoying that.

Yes, it's amazing really, as Rugby is mostly an amateur sport in Argentina, being the third sport behind football and basketball. Fair play to them.

Gyppo would have won the World Cup with the squad SCW had at his disposal. Never worked as a head coach since, just done loads of advisory roles.

I enjoyed it but in my (admittedly uneducated) opinion the two quarter finals last Sunday were much more entertaining.

I'm glad you've been watching the matches and embracing the World in Union.

I've enjoyed the knockout games, at least the ones that I've seen. Didn't bother with the group matches.

The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 12:04 - Oct 25 by Pacemaker | Blues is Patchell, Dragons is Jason Tovey and Scarlets on Friday night was Shingler I think although Aled Thomas went back there after Priestland left. What's your view on Mcaw's elbow deliberate or accidental? Looks like you could read it either way if it was deliberate it was virtually undectable certainly not an obvious movement of the elbow. |
Didn't see anything in it, nor did world rugby as he's not been cited.

Rugby union in Australia is even lower in the sporting ranking, behind Aussie rules, rugby league and cricket.

The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 16:22 - Oct 25 by Jackfath | I dont follow your logic. |
When an interception is unsuccessful. The criteria the ref uses to assess whether it should be just a scrum for knock on or a penalty and possibly a yellow card for a deliberate knock on is "did the player attempting the interception use one or two hands?" Simmonds used only his right hand for the whole interception and sprint to the line. Therefore it is perfectly possible to execute an interception successfully with one hand.
