Swansea City return to action this Saturday at Blackburn Rovers with a string of fixtures thereafter which will most certainly test Luke Williams ability to coach and manage his squad. Eom is out of these next six fixtures as he starts his rehabilitation after an MCL injury playing for South Korea against Jordan in a World Cup Qualifier last week.

Ben Cabango took a few blows on Monday night in Wales crucial fixture against Montenegro, however nothing is seen as serious, and the good he did for his future international prospects cannot be argued with. The Swans are in eleventh in the Championship going into the game away at Blackburn. Since football was deemed safe to play after the Covid ‘situation’ the sides have met on seven occasions. Williams first thoughts will be around the inclusion of Florian Bianchini this coming Saturday, an obvious and straight forward inclusion. However, he has favoured Azeem Abdulai, shoehorning him into a wing position which hasn’t proven a success. Unfortunately when that option is preferred the Swans seem to slow down in their attacking play - with Azeem opting to put his foot on the brake and pass the ball backwards when a run at his opponent is possible.

The Swans have to resist this.
