Wales face Montenegro tomorrow evening in Cardiff, they put their unbeaten run on the line against a side who sit at the bottom of the four nation table (B4) The one goal the Montenegrin national side has scored came against Wales in September in a 2-1 loss.

Despite Jordan James and Brennan Johnson suspended for reaching two yellow cards, striker Kieffer Moore is positive. “We’re without players on Monday but it’s a squad game and we’ve got some really good players to come in. I’m sure they’ll take their chances when they get them. We’ve scored four goals away from home and that’s what we’re about. We’re a high-press, high-attacking team and when we do get those chances in that style of play it’s exciting. It gets people on their feet but sometimes it can work against you as well. He too has picked up two yellow cards and cannot be selected. Just when Owen has been recalled to the senior side, so no extra munchies for Milutin.

Despite what many Wales followers found to be an ineffective contribution in Iceland on Friday, Ipswich winger come defender Wes Burns has complimented new head coach Bellamy. “I used to love watching him, he was my style of player to a tee. Aggressive, front-foot football, scored goals, feisty, loved a tackle, so I think there’s a different respect for someone when they cross that line and go to the manager’s side.” Well Wes, you’ve a bit of a way to go, but it seems everyone within the Wales set up is one hundred percent behind Bellamy.

Türkiye go to Iceland tomorrow night, and the outcomes of both games leads us into November for the final two qualifiers in the Nations League. First and second in each ‘A’ group qualify for the two-legged quarter-final stage in March 2025, with the four winners progressing to the Finals in June. The League ‘B’ qualification structure we will cover post match day 6. England are also in the League B structure. Plus World Cup Qualification which can be assisted by a good Nations League ranking. It’s complicated … Oh, and play offs !
